SECONDARY FOOTBALL (Soccer)
Congratulations to all our teams who competed in the Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Secondary Football Championships in Canberra on Friday.
The weather was spectacular as was the talent on the pitch! A massive thank you to Brendan Croese for organising the day, to all staff and to the referees - without you all a day such as this wouldn’t be possible.

NSWPSSA Boys Rugby League
Best of luck to Jack Maher from Mt Carmel School Yass as he represents the MacKillop U12's Boys Rugby League team at the NSWPSSA State Championships.
The Championships are being held in Parkes and kick off tomorrow for the three day tournament. The MacKillop team will take on Sydney West, Riverina and CIS tomorrow.
We are so proud of Jack and hope he enjoys the experience.

PRIMARY TOUCH FOOTBALL
Congratulations to all of our boys and girls who proudly represented the Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn at the MacKillop Touch Football Trials in Wagga Wagga on Friday.
A special thank you to our team managers, Lisa Wilson and Lyne Witenden, for their outstanding work and dedication in supporting our students throughout the day. We also extend our gratitude to the families and supporters who travelled to Wagga Wagga and cheered on our teams.
We are delighted to congratulate Xavier Eke (St Mary's Primary School Moruya) and Florence Tuli (St Gregory's Primary School Queanbeyan) on their selection in the MacKillop Touch Football teams. Both students will now represent MacKillop at the NSWPSSA State Touch Football Championships in Coffs Harbour from 25–27 August.
This is a wonderful achievement and recognition of their skill, commitment and hard work. We wish Xavier and Florence the very best as they continue their representative journey and proudly represent both MacKillop and the Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn.

DIVING
Massive congratulations to Tegan Schultz from Trinity Catholic College Goulburn on her selection on the NSW All Schools Diving team to compete at the School Sport Australia (SSA) National Diving Championships which are being held in Melbourne from the 25th - 31st of July.
Tegan will be competing in the;
* 17-19 Girls Platform
* Teams Knockout event
* Synchro Diving Event
and possibly the Springboard event.
We are so incredibly proud of Tegan and wish her the best of luck at nationals.

NSWCCC RUGBY LEAGUE
Congratulations to our three students who proudly represented the Southern Country U16’s Rugby League Team at the NSWCCC Trials in late May. Their commitment, talent and hard work have been rewarded with outstanding achievements, and we are incredibly proud of their success.
A special congratulations to Darcy Reardon from St Anne's Catholic College, Temora, who has gained selection in the NSWCCC U16’s Team. Darcy will now represent NSWCCC at the Australian Secondary Schools Rugby League (ASSRL) National Championships in Coffs Harbour from 6–11 July.
Congratulations also to Jacob Borg and Oliver Paul, both from Carroll College, Broulee, who have both been selected in the NSW Country U16’s Team and will attend the NSW Country Tour.
These selections are a testament to the dedication and effort all three boys have shown throughout the representative pathway. We wish Darcy, Jacob and Oliver every success in their upcoming representative commitments and look forward to following their achievements.

NSWPSSA GIRLS RUGBY LEAGUE
Congratulations to Indi, Olivia, Zoey and Bonnie, who played some fabulous rugby league over the past week in Cronulla at the inaugural U12 Girls NSWPSSA State Rugby League Championships.
The girls represented the Archdiocese with pride both on and off the field, and we are extremely proud of their efforts.
The MacKillop team finished 3rd in their pool and 5th overall out of the 12 teams competing.
A special congratulations to Olivia, who was named Co-Captain of the team and was also awarded the Coaches Award at the conclusion of the championships.

NSW All Schools Girls AFL
Congratulations to Tia Freyer and Sophie Leonard, who have been proudly representing NSWCCC at the U14 AFL All Schools Championships in Albury over the past two days.
The NSWCCC team produced outstanding football throughout the tournament, remaining undefeated and claiming the Gold Medal.
Both Tia and Sophie were standout performers across the championships and were both rewarded with selection in the NSW All Schools Team.
Additionally Tia was named the MVP for the championships - an outstanding achievement .
Tia and Sophie will now travel to Melbourne next term to compete at the School Sport Australia National Championships against the best school-aged players from across the country.
Congratulations Tia and Sophie on this remarkable achievement. We are incredibly proud of your success and wish you both all the very best as you represent NSW in Melbourne.

NSW All Schools Hockey
The NSW All Schools Hockey Tri-Series and trials were held on the 28th and 29th of May at Broadmeadow, and featured a large number of Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Students.
In some exciting news the NSWCCC Opens Girls Hockey side won the Gold medal going through the Tri-Series undefeated. Further to this fabulous news, both Sophia Galland and Bonnie Rose were named in the NSW All Schools Merit team.
