There's a certain magic in one-on-one attention πͺ
While group sessions can be powerful, my clients often tell me they're seeking something more... intimate.
Something tailored just for them.
They don't want to share the spotlight.
They want the focus to be solely on them.
For once, they want to be the main character in their own story.
If you're yearning for undivided attention, bespoke strategies, and a journey that's exclusively yours, then perhaps group coaching isn't your scene.
And that's perfectly ok!
Your path is unique, and it deserves the attention it craves.

Stephen Covey once wrote, "To change the situation, we must first change ourselves. And to change ourselves, we must change our perceptions."
In his awesome book "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People", the fifth habit he introduces is a profound one: βSeek first to understand, then to be understood.β
Too often, we're formulating our responses even before someone finishes their sentence.
We hear through the filter of our experiences, leading us to conclude their meaning prematurely.
Do you ever notice that? π€
The key to coaching is 'listen more than you talk'. π€
True leaders prioritise listening, cultivating trust, and building solid relationships above everything else.
Tips for Effective Listening:
β
Engage: Lock eyes and show genuine interest.
β
Be Present: Mindfulness is crucial. It's more than just eye contact.
β
Reflect: Repeat what you've heard. It ensures clarity and shows attentiveness.
β
Stay Neutral: Avoid appearing too eager to jump in. Let the speaker finish.
β
Probe Thoughtfully: Ask for details or clarity based on their story, not yours.
Mastering this habit takes time and dedication.
Challenge yourself in your next chat.
Dive deep into the art of understanding.

Where in your life is it time to draw the line in the sand and say no more? To yourself? To others? π€
