It was pleasing to see Vinolass return to form with an eye-catching second placing in the 1000m Benchmark 66 Handicap, while Missile Leader also produced a strong performance to finish runner-up in a competitive 1400m Benchmark 82 Handicap.

Roy Kelton charged home for fourth in the 1600m Maiden Plate, with Prophet's Promise not far behind after another encouraging effort.

The results may not have reflected it on paper, but there was plenty to like from the day, and all signs point towards an exciting period ahead for the stable.
