It's not all racing here at the Drone Racing Academy!
Our young pilots learn the skills to build and repair their drones to keep them in the race! From soldering, programming and tuning these are value skills not just for drone racing but future careers!

The Australian Drone National's were held last week and two our of students competed amongst the 90 competitors on the field!
Congratulations on your results SLAUGHTERHOUSE (66th) and WEDGE FPV (81st)
Their first major event of this size and they performed extremely well!

Pilots in our Intermediate class have progressed and now preparing for their first big races in the next term!

Excited to see pilot PandaFPV now competing at his local club after learning and training with the Academy!
He intends to continue with Academy training to improve and get better and who knows - we may see him at the Australian Tiny Whoop Championships later this year in Canberra!

Massive thanks to Garran Primary School for having us out today as part of their STEM FEST. We got to speak to the children there about all things drones and drone racing and in our short time available teach a class how to fly!
