Just a "qu**ky" to let all members and locals know that our event planning meeting is on again next Wednesday the 17th of April from 7.30pm. New attendees are always welcome. so put your thinkin cap on and come on down. See you there...

is calling for submissions of interest in propogating "plot space" in our local vegie patch.
If you've ever been over to the vegie patch you will notice that there is ample space for novice gardeners to use to grow food for use at home and has produced many a tasty crop of tomato, cucumber, eggplant, garlic, spinach, Brocolli, Cauliflower, parsley, mint, lemon grass etc etc...
Unfortunately our resident vegetable grower is time poor and cannot maintain it to the standard that it deserves - so we'd like to encourage our local members and budding "green thumbs" to come and stake a claim on what has been a loved and productve piece of land.
Enquiries can be made @ the bar or see Danielle on a Friday night or Sunday afternoon.

Would like to thank all of those who helped during last weekends "mowathon". By all accounts a little "short, back & sides" have got the grounds looking good.
We are however currently investigating livestock agistment options after this weeks rainfall - Only jokes Naom's - We all know that cow pats and bowls greens dont mix...

Would like to thank all that came down to "the Bowlo" during the weekend. Whether it it be for the Friday night jam and jabber, a feed, beer and boogie to The Lowboys and friends on Saturday arvo/night - what a great night! Or for some Sunday afternoon Sunshine bowls and footy!!!
Just a note the we will be closed on Good Friday ( sorry - its the law) but we will be open on Thursday the 28th with live music and some fun and games to celebrate the Easter long weekend.

Friday Night Features - Jammin @ The Bowlo - Come on down and have a cool after work bevy and a sing a long with friends.
Saturday 16/3 - from 4pm - Feature band "The Lowboys" + Special guests Blues R***e + Barefoot Bowls (Free for members and guests) + Sausage sizzle + Pool + Darts.
Sunday 17/3 - "St Patricks Day" roll up - Bowls in the sunshine + early afternoon Sausage sizzle + Toss the Boss + Sunday footy LIVE - (ish).
Soo... On your bike. Bring your dog. Ring your Mum and let her know that you are going to The Bowlo for the weekend - hell bring her along as well (just keep her away from Colin and his jokes - no offence Col -Ii always laugh ;)) .... Just bring a Friend and come and spend some time @ The Bowlo - Your Friendly club...
