WE NEED YOUR HELP FOR THE UPCOMING SEASON!!! We are still looking for wonderful volunteers to help with the Canteen Coordinator and Recording Officer roles for the 2025 / 2026 season! Without a Canteen Coordinator we will unfortunately not be able to offer the canteen or BBQs at HAC on competition days in 2025 / 2026.

The Recording Officer role is also a critical executive committee role that involves managing competition results, point scores, reports and awards throughout the season. You'll work closely with the Registrar and Committee to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

We have our first HAC committee meeting post the successful amalgamation this coming Monday, 28th July 2025. If you are interested in the above roles or if you want to attend the meeting, please contact Rayno or Bec / Leisha. (The meetings are open to any members of HAC who wants to attend - just let us know as we also provide chocolates at the meetings!)

Athletics West also launched the 20205 / 2026 season at their conference over the weekend, we will be providing more details over the coming weeks - watch this space!

📣 Important Update: Hamersley Athletics Centre – One Club, One Community!

Following the recent Special General Meeting, we’re excited to confirm that Glendale little athletics club joined the other Clubs to form one club as the Hamersley Athletics Centre for the 2025/26 season and beyond. 💛

Although Glendale had a fantastic season and we succesfull forms a commitee at our AGM, over previous seasons, it has become increasingly challenging to maintain operations across all five separate clubs and the centre. To deliver the best possible experience for all our athletes and familiesa One Centre option seemed the best option All votes were in favour of our five affiliated Little Athletics clubs (Sorrento, Oceanside, North Beach, Glendale, Karrinyup) to officially amalgamate under the single entity of Hamersley Athletics Centre.

This change marks a new era for Hamersley – one that unites our resources and volunteers under one banner to better support our athletes, simplify administration, and ensure long-term sustainability.

More information on what this means for Glendale members for training, registrations, uniforms, and the upcoming season will be shared soon.

Hamersley Winter Cross Country training kicks off Sunday 27th April!

When the summer track winds down, the cross country trails heat up. Join the Hamersley XC Winter Squad for weekly training sessions and get race-ready for the Athletics West Cross Country events held across Perth.

Head Coach Emmett Fenlon is back, delivering tailored sessions for every age and fitness level.

Here’s what you need to know:

🔸 Training every Thursday & Sunday, 4:30–5:30pm
🔸 Starts at Lake Gwelup Reserve, then moves to Monyash Reserve, Carine
🔸 Open to athletes U7 and up

Thank you to all the Glendale families that came and celebrated our clubs achievements on Saturday afternoon!
