With no hockey this weekend, our senior men’s and women’s teams took time out to enjoy dinner at Queen of the West, one of our sponsors for 2026!
Looks like everyone had a good time, except for maybe our littlest member.

Our mini Saints enjoyed a different training session last night; enjoying some team games, socialising with their team mates, enjoying some pizza and sharing their ideas to redesign the saints uniform !
With the cold weather we had yesterday, it is safe to say both children and parents were happy to have an indoor session.
Huge Thank you to those who attended our Musical Bingo Social event. It was definitely a great night full of laughs and a whole lot of singing.

Round 7 results
Highlight of the round:
Under 10 team getting the upper hand over Geelong in their very first win!! We are super proud of the under 10's team who are quite young with many of them still technically able to still play under 8's.

Saints Hockey Club is committed to ensuring the safety of all children and young people within our club.
The role of our Child Safety Officers is listen to young people (under 18) when they raise concerns about their physical, emotional or psychological safety. This includes children in the junior teams and young people playing in the senior teams. The officer will record the complaint and raise it with our club president and both decide on a course of action as outlined in the complaints procedure. Confidentiality is very important. Complaints can range from friction with the coach and team mates, to feeling threatened or uncomfortable while at hockey events, to offences which require immediate police involvement.
We encourage our junior families to talk about this with their children to support them in knowing who they can talk to if they feel uncomfortable with any situation at hockey.

Round 6 Results !!
Our under 10's are fighting hard and continuing to improve each week, scoring 2 goals this week! Congratulations to Alex Cairns and Will Cherry for getting 2 great goals.
Division 2 men had a close win against Corio. While both Women's teams fought hard to walk away with draws.

Monique generously dedicates her time to support junior development initiatives, including our Hookin2Hockey program. In addition to her involvement in club fundraisers, she actively assists junior players during their training sessions. Monique also serves on our club committee, as well as on the junior and event subcommittees. Furthermore, she competes with our women’s teams.
