Healing from complex trauma involves more than talking about painful experiences, it also requires reconnecting with the body, rebuilding confidence, and creating new positive life experiences. At JSkate, roller skating is used as a therapeutic movement that supports emotional, physical, and psychological wellbeing. Learning to skate encourages participants to develop balance, coordination, emotional regulation, resilience, and self-belief while engaging in a fun and supportive environment. Each small achievement on skates helps restore confidence, reduce anxiety, and strengthen the mind-body connection that trauma often disrupts. Combined with mindfulness, counselling principles, and positive social interaction, the JSkate approach provides a safe pathway for individuals to experience joy, regain trust in themselves, and move forward with greater resilience and hope.

**Supporting Coaches & Officials in Practice Workshop** at Hidden Valley Raceway, Darwin.

As part of the preparation, the Australian Sports Commission's coaching education module, gaining valuable insights into supporting coaches, officials, and participants in community sport.

Looking forward to learning from experienced facilitators, connecting with fellow coaches and officials, and bringing new knowledge back to the sporting community.

We've just had another amazing day with Ride Against Cancer NT raising funds for the Alan Walker Cancer Care Centre.

Fuelled by skater grit & determination, our love for those who have or still do battle cancer, bucket loads of hydralytes (thanks Wicked NRG) and a bunch of bloody great skater mates.
