🐦‍🔥Our Phoenix Flames 'Fire Chicks' played the ladder leaders Tracy Village Falcons. One soaring from the ashes, the other flying over the fire....

💥It was a gutsy game from both teams - goal for goal ! but our girls came through winning their game - which was no doubt the match of the week!

💥This team came together by choice, with players and families wanting to be part of something new. They saw an opportunity to challenge themselves, grow as athletes, step outside their comfort zones, and help build a positive team culture from the ground up.

🐦‍🔥This week our 17s had a team bonding session - a solid run, a refreshing ocean recovery and great food shared together at Fannie Bay Cool Spot.

As we lead into the Netball NT First Nations Carnival and the upcoming Darwin Netball Association Indigenous Round, Phoenix Flames Netball Club is proud to celebrate and acknowledge the strength, culture and stories of our First Nations people.

This season, we are incredibly honoured to showcase our very own Phoenix Indigenous design, created in partnership with our talented Indigenous Artist, Serena Waters. This design represents more than just a uniform — it tells a story of identity, connection, resilience and the powerful spirit of our Phoenix community.

Our Indigenous design will be proudly worn by our players at the Darwin Netball Association Incorporated, Indigenous Round, 17 June 2026 - as a symbol of respect, unity and pride as we celebrate culture both on and off the court.

We cannot wait to see our Phoenix Flames players represent with heart, strength and respect during this special time in the netball calendar.
