Okay so… we did a thing 🫣🤣
We may have very quietly snuck out to Katherine Speedway with a car in tow to make our debut… and I think it’s about time I introduced the newest addition to the Rubber Ducky Racing fleet.
Meet The Ugly Duckling 🐥🤣
We joked about the name before we even hit the track, but after the introduction she gave herself… I think she’s officially earned it 😂
She needed a little TLC before the incident… now she needs a touch more 🫣 But you couldn’t wipe the smile off my face the entire night — not even after our little roly-poly madness.
A massive thank you to the amazing volunteers who got us both out of there seamlessly and quickly after the rollover. You guys were onto it straight away and I seriously appreciate it! 💙
Now to sort out some of that unnecessary bouncing around, attempt to bend some of that mess back into something resembling a race car, and get her ready to go again.
She might be ugly. She might be slightly more bent than when we started. But f*ck, she was fun. 😍

🏁 MEET LOLA THE COROLLA! 🏁
Safe to say the kids are THRILLED… and so are we! What a little weapon she is! 😍
Very kindly donated by Warren, Lola is the newest addition to our junior motorkhana program — and judging by this crew, I think she’s already found her people. 😂💙
Opportunities like this don’t just happen overnight. It takes a team, and without everyone backing me to keep backing these kids, none of this happens.
So a massive thank you to Warren, and to every single person who continues to get behind what we’re building. It genuinely means more than you know. 🥰

And another huge thank you to Jon Morrison for donating his time to do the pick-up for us. Absolute legends and very, very much appreciated!
After one heck of a busy weekend at Motor Rox, being able to load all the junior cars plus the unregistered Duck Duck onto the truck for a one-way ticket home was honestly such a relief 😅🙌
There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes to get these cars to events, displays and race days, and it’s people like this who make life a whole lot easier and help us keep doing what we do — especially for the juniors. 🏁💙
