AusChamps 2027 – Updated Dates

Following the AFL’s announcement of Gather Round dates, AusDBF has worked with DBSA and SA Rowing to adjust the AusChamps schedule in Adelaide.

The revised dates will help reduce the impact on accommodation availability and costs for clubs travelling to Adelaide.

AusChamps will now run from Saturday 24 April to Thursday 29 April.

The schedule:

Sat 24 Apr: Premiers, Juniors & BCP – 200m & 2km + Opening Ceremony
Sun 25 Apr: Premiers, Juniors & BCP – 200m & 2km + Dawn Service
Mon 26 Apr: State Day Championship – 500m & Turn Race + Flag Bearer Ceremony
Tue 27 Apr: Seniors – 500m
Wed 28 Apr: Seniors – 200m
Thu 29 Apr: Seniors – 2km

AusDBF sincerely thanks DBSA and SA Rowing for their cooperation and flexibility in making this change possible.

We hope the revised dates provide greater flexibility and help ease accommodation pressures.
