At BK’s Gymnastics Maitland, we’re all about skill development, not competition.

Our recreational gymnastics program gives children the opportunity to learn and progress at their own pace, with supportive coaches, safe skill progressions and plenty of encouragement along the way.

🤸 SWING, JUMP, ROLL & GROW! 🤸

Our Gym Fun 1 & 2 classes are all about building skills, confidence and a love of movement!

Designed for children aged 4–7 years, these recreational gymnastics classes give children the opportunity to develop gymnastics foundations while working on strength, balance, coordination, flexibility and body awareness.

Through circuits, apparatus work and age-appropriate challenges, children can practise new skills, take safe risks and experience that wonderful feeling of “I did it!” ⭐

What does gymnastics have to do with learning at school? Quite a lot! 🤸📚

While children are climbing, balancing, jumping and learning new gymnastics skills, they’re also practising many of the skills they use every day in the classroom.

Join us for Cartwheel & Handstand Clinic on Wednesday 7th October 9:30am - 11:30am at our Maitland Centre.

A focused, fun clinic for kids keen to nail their handstand and cartwheel — coached in small skill groups so every child gets hands-on support at the right level.

🤸Build handstand shapes, strength and confidence with wall drills
🤸‍♂️ Practise safe entries, landings and supported progressions
🤸Work on cartwheel preparation and technique step by step
🤸🏾Grouped by beginner and developing skill level for tailored coaching

For kids who love to climb, jump, swing and challenge themselves, Ninja Stars is the place to be!

Our Ninja Stars classes combine gymnastics skills with fun ninja-style challenges, helping children build strength, agility, coordination, balance and confidence — all while keeping active and having plenty of fun.

Our Club Gym Bronze classes are perfect for older children who are ready to build on their gymnastics foundations, learn new skills and challenge themselves in a fun, recreational environment.

Gymnasts work across a range of apparatus while developing strength, flexibility, balance, coordination and body control, with coaches supporting them to progress skills safely and at their own pace.
