Last weekend, Master Jason and Master Vidu travelled to Sydney to referee at the AUS TKD Pathway Fight Series 2 event.
We are proud to see them representing our club as referees and contributing to the Taekwondo community at a national-level event.
It was a great experience for both of them, and we look forward to seeing them continue to grow and represent our club with pride.

All our SMART centres will be closed on Monday, 1 June 2026 for Western Australia Day.

Members are welcome to attend a replacement class on another training day at any of our centres.

🥋 What an incredible day at the Southwest Championship yesterday, Saturday 16 May 2026! 🏆

A huge CONGRATULATIONS to our SMART Martial Arts team for their amazing results:

🌟 Master Vidu received an Outstanding Referee Award for his contribution and professionalism throughout the event. IR in making. Keep up good job.

🥇🥇 Master Jason had an incredible performance, winning 2 gold medals in sparring.

🥇🥈🥉 Sofia did an amazing job, winning gold in board breaking, silver in sparring, and bronze in speed kicking. First time we took part in this event. Well done Sofia you are true Champion.

We are so proud of the hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship shown by our team. A big thank you as well to everyone who came to class and showed their support before the competition.

SPECIAL Thank you to ATWA President, Board Members, Volunteers and all Clubs who took part in high spirit of Sportsmanship.

This weekend, we are proud to be sending three of our members to Bunbury for the Southwest Championship.
Master Jason will be attending as an official and coach, while also stepping onto the mats himself to compete in sparring.
Master Vidu will also be representing the club as an official and coach, supporting our athletes throughout the event.
Sofia will be competing in sparring, board breaking, and speed kicking.
A big thank you to everyone who came to class today to show their support. We wish Master Jason, Master Vidu, and Sofia the very best of luck for the weekend. We know you will represent the club with pride.

Congratulations to Master Jason and Master Vidu, who flew down to Melbourne to referee at the xChampionship competition.
This is a fantastic recognition of their experience, professionalism, and contribution to Taekwondo in Australia. Representing our club and WA at events like this is a huge achievement, and we are proud to see our masters continuing to support the sport at such a high level.

A huge congratulations to Master Vidu for representing our club at a recent referee event on the Gold Coast.

During the event, Master Vidu had the valuable opportunity to judge Para Poomsae under the guidance of Janine Watson, gaining further experience and insight into this important area of Taekwondo competition.

He also had the honour of meeting guest Grandmaster Micheal Tan and continued to expand his knowledge by learning more about Freestyle Poomsae.

We are very proud to see our Masters continuing to learn, grow, and contribute to the wider Taekwondo community. Well done, Master Vidu!
