PACKRAFTING & WHITEWATER SKILLS DAYS — LEARN IT. REPEAT IT. OWN IT.
Good instruction is more than demonstrating a technique. It’s about creating learning that lasts.
Our Skills Days focus on repeatable, transferable skills — helping you understand a technique, practise it correctly, receive feedback, and repeat it until you can reproduce it independently.
We focus on the why as well as the how, developing your understanding of boat control, river dynamics, movement and decision-making. These principles transfer across packrafts, kayaks, canoes and other craft — and across different rivers and environments.
You’ll learn from Dita Pahl, a Paddle Australia Senior Instructor in all craft — the highest instructor qualification available. Dita is a five-time World Champion, long-time Whitewater Slalom Coach, and holds Swiftwater Rescue and Wilderness First Aid qualifications. With more than 25 years teaching, coaching and leading river trips, she understands how to turn instruction into skills that stick.
The goal is simple:
Learn it. Practise it. Understand it. Repeat it. Own it.
So when you’re back on the river without an instructor beside you, the skill is still there.
Any boat. Any paddler. Skills that stick.
