Congratulations to Golden Grove Little Athletes - Hamish, Annika and Kailey who all represented South Australia this weekend at the Athletics Australia National Cross Country Championship in Ballarat. Over the course of the season these 3 athletes have put in a huge amount of work to be able to compete with the best runners in the country.

In the week leading up to the event, Ballarat was drenched with a month’s worth of rain. As a result the course was entirely mud and puddles providing a new experience for the athletes. (Also, spare a thought for the parents who had to wash and revive their shoes and uniforms between the individual championship and relay races).
