After such a big Darwin carnival with multiple placing and Jumpingpoweroftwo (Jack) winning with so much emotion after Sonjas fall in January I find myself reminiscing about my very first win and Sonja’s and my first win together, which came from our horse Fromthenevernever (“Bugz”) A horse who would go on to mean so much more to us. 🩵 it’s crazy to think we started with a stable of one and two owners. And what a Territory name to kick us off!

Fromthenevernever (“Bugz”) was the horse that kicked off our stable and will always hold a special place in our heart. Across 21 starts, he gave us 4 wins, 5 seconds and 5 thirds, and over $88,000 in prizemoney. He also carried us through some of our most meaningful moments, including Sonja’s first win back after her terrible fall and TBI (I think I grew gray hairs form that!), making him part of a chapter I’ll never forget.

He’s enjoying a well-earned retirement doing what he loves show jumping and pony club. Some horses are more than just racehorses, they’re the ones that help build your story. 🩵💜🩵
