A few pics of the repairs to the Hakeem Punch EL falcon after a nasty crash a while back where he totally destroyed the nas bars in a s**t mixer at Bunbury. Spent about 10 hours to get it sorted ready for painting then daylighted in preparation for the season ahead. 🏁😈

Feels good to get this completed. Stacey was on the rivet gun all day. I think she deserves 🥃 now

We have started the putting the girl back together. Deck is one big jigsaw puzzle

Got a couple of hours to work on the new car today. Shes now a roller 👌😈 still plenty to go

Today we got to pickup our new chassis from the powder coaters. It’s definitely looking the goods now 👌. Massive thanks goes out to Jimmy and Mel flemming from Asteel Powdercoaters for organising the sand blasting and doing the new powder coating to make it look amazing. 😍best in the business . you guys rock 👍
Now i have a heap of work to do to get it back together.
Everyone was telling me just to slap it together but its just not in me to not do it right.

Just need to take all the good bits that survived out of the old chassis and into the new ( sounds simple ) lol

I also must thank my crew chief /the MRS. Stacey Lake for backing up my stupid decisions to do it right, Also my mates/crew guys Tony Dobra and Craig Dobra for all their help with everything. Might take us a bit to get it done as we dont have any sponsors on board so its all on us to get it done right.

Dropped the street stock off to his new home today. Made Braedyn have a photo of his first ever racecar. Will give him a hand on his first meeting to get the feeling for it. But Stacey is now excited to get her Production car finished

UPDATE... WE HAVE STRIPED HER BACK. WILL DECIDE WHETHER PAINT OR IF WE CAN GET POWDERCOATED CHEAPLY

Would like everyones opinion!!!
After spending months looking at her.. I got pressured ( by Stacey) to start... so I have.. deck off and start striping her to get these panels powder coated.. up in the air about striping completely and powder coating the whole chassis..
What should I do??

Stacey is keen for a skid this weekend. Washing the dust off it as shes been out ofthe seat for a couple of months.
