As we end 2022, it's time to celebrate YOU. Too often we are taught to celebrate the wins and achievements or the big milestone events or goals we have achieved. Instead I encourage you to reflect on and celebrate experiences, moments and lessons that helped shape you this year.
So looking back on 2022, I invite you to consider these prompts:
- What's something that you learned about yourself?
- What's something that you are proud of? (hint - try to make it be about you)
- A moment from 2022 that brought you joy?
I would love you to share your reflections from 2022 - sharing the beautiful moments in our lives helps to share the joy and positive energy with others.

Imposter Syndrome is experienced by more than 70% of people in the workplace, and is more common in women than men. But did you know that there are actually 5 different personality types that fall under Imposter Syndrome and Perfectionist is only one of them.
Find out which personality type you most identify with. You may actually relate to more than 1 type - having one type as your core personality and slipping into different ones in different circumstances. Let me know in the comments what personality type/s you are.
For me I used to be a #1 Perfectionist and #5 Super Person, sometimes a #3 Soloist which is why I could never delegate! I was always well aware of my shortcomings so never a #4 Natural Genius or #3 Expert.
I held a webinar yesterday talking about Overcoming Imposter Syndrome and Perfectionism. You can watch a replay of this and my other webinars at https://www.infinitemindlifecoaching.com.au/webinars
If you're tired of trying to fake it til you make it and ready to make some changes in how you are showing up in your life, please get in touch with me here on LinkedIn or make time to chat with me at https://calendly.com/infinitemindlifecoaching/30min

These two photos show what stress, worry and exhaustion do to you versus happiness, health and purpose. And no I am not selling magic pills or potions or anything of the sort.
Photo #1 was taken on the day that I was starting my 2 months sick leave from my job, and 2 weeks after my 3rd hospital visit for burnout. At the time I was suffering with depression, anxiety, high blood pressure, chronic diarrhea, adrenal fatigue, hormonal dis-regulation, insomnia and was a "grey area" alcoholic. I actually thought I looked pretty good on this day and was feeling great to finally be taking some time off to rest and recover. I had just started my spiritual and coaching journey this same week. I was wearing makeup in this photo and had the "soft focus" filter on.
Photo #2 was taken 6 months later and 1 month after I had left my $250K a year corporate job. I had zero income and was living off my life savings and had just started Queen of my own Universe and Infinite Mind Life Coaching and had no clients yet. What I did have was faith in myself, faith in the universe and an unshakeable belief that somehow everything would work out for my best life. All the health issues I had previously been suffering were gone, I was off my blood pressure medication and no longer needing to see the doctors, therapists and specialists that had been part of my life for the previous 15 months. In this photo I am wearing almost no makeup (a girl gotta have lip gloss though) and it is unedited and untouched. I am practicing everything that I now teach to others.
You don't have to quit your job to change the trajectory of your life. I could go back into the corporate world and a demanding job now and still be as happy, peaceful and well as I am now because of how I now know myself, I've healed from the inside and I know how to set and hold my boundaries.
If you want to know how much better you can feel (and look) in 6 months time then you do now, there's quite literally only 3 things you need to do:
1. Stop talking about it and complaining about your life and decide that it's time for you to start living
2. Get in touch with me and let's talk about how you want to feel.
3. Do the work and start the process of getting to know yourself.
What will your "before" and "after" photos look like? I can't wait to see your transformation to living a life you love too.

There's so much more to your mind than the conscious part that we operate in every day. Freud's theory on the parts of the mind helps us to understand this better.
Your Conscious Mind is the active thoughts and perceptions that you have about what is happening to you and around you. This is the part of your mind responsible for logical thinking and problem solving.
Your Subconscious Mind is made up of smaller Preconscious and Unconscious parts. This is the deep levels of your mindset and beliefs that were formed from before you were even born through until about the age of 7 years old, and based on what you saw and experienced - good and bad. This is where your beliefs and bias stem from and what your emotions and reactions are driven by. Something that you were told or observed as a young child may still play out for you today in how you view yourself, others and the world.
The Subconscious is where the "Self" identity lives. Self-worth, self-belief, self-confidence, self-doubt, self-awareness, self-enablement, self-sabotage. For those with self-limiting beliefs such as I'm not good enough, I can't do that, I'm no good at that, nothing good ever happens to me, if something can go wrong it will go wrong for me - this is coming from your subconscious mind.
The subconscious mind also houses how we see the world and others in it. What is your mindset about success, wealth, money, love, life in general? Is money the root of all evil and doesn't buy happiness? Are successful people arrogant and greedy and not very nice? Does anything good in life never come easy? Do you hear your parents or grandparents voices in some of your thoughts? Cultural backgrounds also show up in our subconscious thoughts.
The subconscious mind is why we set New Years Resolutions of things that we know we want to do/are good for us (conscious thinking) and yet we fail to achieve year after year. The subconscious mind is why we stop ourselves from chasing our dreams because fear and uncertainty takes over.
Understanding your subconscious mind and the thoughts and beliefs that make up your Mindset is the starting point to changing the trajectory of your life. You can rewire your brain to think and act differently, and thereby achieve different outcomes. New mindset = new results. Same mindset = same results.
Now imagine a team in your organisation where everyone understands their individual mindset and how to harness to achieve greatness? How the language we use in the workplace every day can change the energy and direction of success?
The Reset Your Mindset program that I run through Infinite Mind Life Coaching is a game changer and life changer. This program can be run for individuals or groups in a 90 minute to half day format. One of the biggest topics I am asked to help people with is how to stop their self-sabotaging behaviours and negative self-talk.
You know when you keep saying negative things to yourself the moment that you dare to get a little brave and do something different?
Or how you set New Years Resolutions every January and by February they are a long lost memory?
Or how everyone else seems to be chasing their dreams, getting promoted, starting their own business and you're still just talking about it?
Welcome to your Comfort Zone. Learn how to get out of it with fear and pain and start stepping into the life that you actually want to live.

Burn out is a slow, insidious creep. It gas lights sufferers into thinking it's just stress, or things will get better soon when things settle down at work/home. Your Inner Critic gets louder. The shame of being weak and not coping if you let anyone see what's really going on. The fear of being exposed as an imposter or being seen as a failure. The sleepless nights that turn into physical illness. The family relationships that suffer under the burden.
68.5% of Australian workers reported experiencing burnout to some extent in a workplace survey in September 2022. The Microsoft Global Work Index 2022 found Australian workers the most burnt out in the world.
Some might think that the term burnout is being used to describe periods of stress, but burnout is more than stress. There are 5 stages of burn out and symptoms at each stage. I've written this article to try and describe them in relatable ways, and give 5 keys to preventing burn out. And if you're already there or well on your way, my heart goes out to you and I am here to help.
5 Stages of Burn Out and 5 Keys to prevent it.
I'm a 3X burnout survivor. Actually, truth be told I'm a survivor of burn out more than 3 times, it's just that it put me in hospital 3 times, and the rest of the time in between hospital visits I lived in a state that fluctuated anywhere between chronic stress and severe burnout. I share my experie...

3 Mindfulness Tips in under 60 seconds at work
Say the word "mindful" and most people think you're talking about meditation and chanting and some other hippy dippy stuff. And maybe they think that the workplace and mindfulness can't co-habit. After all, it's not like I can just zone out and start meditating in the middle of a meeting. Do we need...
