What a great Sunday we’ve had! 👏🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

There were some awesome PBs earned at Run the Pen, Rosebud Running Festival, and a huge congratulations to Steph on completing her first half marathon! 🎉💪

For the third year in a row, Frankston Running Club teamed up with the Pakenham Road Runners to facilitate the Longest Run for the South East, where seven parkruns are completed throughout the day. An incredible 21 superstars took on all seven events, while many others joined in for one or more runs along the way.

The vibe was amazing, the support was outstanding, and it was a fantastic day all round. A big thank you to Mark and Anthony for taking the lead in representing the club, and to our mates at Pakey for the group photos, support, and helping make the day such a success.

We can’t wait to do it all again next year! 🩷💙

After a very wet week, we were greeted with a beautiful morning at Belvedere parkrun. ☀️

Our crew was out in force, both running and volunteering, helping make another fantastic community event happen.

A huge congratulations to Caz on reaching her 25 Volunteer milestone! 👏 Thank you for the time, energy, and support you give to parkrun and our running community.

Sunday long run done and dusted! 🌿🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

The early crew kicked things off at 6am, knocking out 10km before linking back up with the main group at the Seaford Wetlands. From there, runners chose either one or two laps of the wetlands, enjoying the peaceful trails and great company along the way.

Once again, we managed to dodge the rain and were rewarded with a fantastic morning of running, followed by the most important part of any long run – coffee and chats with the crew. ☕️

Pacer Day delivered the goods at Belvedere parkrun! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

With our pacers out on course, we saw some fantastic running this morning, with plenty of strong performances and a few PBs thrown into the mix🔔👏👏

A big congratulations to Alana on reaching her 25th parkrun milestone, while over at Frankston, Heike celebrated her 50th parkrun — an amazing achievement!

The rain was kind enough to hold off just long enough for us to enjoy our usual post-parkrun chats and community catch-up.

Thanks to everyone who joined us this morning, whether you were chasing a time, volunteering, or simply enjoying another great Saturday with the crew. 💓💙

Big weekend of running for the FRC crew 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Saturday morning at Belvedere parkrun followed by Sunday’s long run taking in the beautiful trails around the Frankston Reservoir and through Sweetwater Creek Nature Reserve.

A weekend full of laughs, good chats, plenty of kms and even better company. Finished off the only way we know how — coffee together afterwards ☕️

A wonderfully wet Sunday long run down the Dandenong Creek Trail from Patterson River this morning 🌧️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

A solid crew who weren’t deterred by the rain, turning up with smiles, good chats and plenty of kilometres in the legs.

The warm coffees at the finish were definitely well earned 🩷💙

Big crew for our Sunday long run along Penlink and the Baxter Trail this morning. With event season in full swing, some of the group kicked off early to bank a few extra kilometres before meeting back up at 7am with the main 🩷💙

Perfect weather, perfect company and a perfect new finish spot for coffee and chats afterwards ☕️

What a morning at Belvedere parkrun as we celebrated two incredible milestones — Cheryl’s 500th parkrun and Andrew’s 200th parkrun 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

A huge turnout for both of them made the morning even more special, with so many people coming along to celebrate these amazing achievements. 🩷💙
