At Stand Up Paddle Gear Australia we answer this question every day – we paddle, we talk with people who paddle, we teach people to paddle, we find the correct board and accessories for people who want to paddle and, so far, we haven’t found any limits to the fun we can have with this sport.
Everyone has their own angle on SUPs – surf riding, lake cruising, racing, SUP yoga, exercising or just getting that very first taste of how it feels to walk on water – so we’ve expanded what we offer to include the widest range of boards, accessories and clothing for SUP in Sydney.
From dedicated surfers looking for some alternative action, to absolute beginners who want to feel the groove, our goal is to help you find the right board and the right accessories to make your SUP experience awesome.

We are offering you a great time, the most amazing exercise, the most accessible way to experience surfing, satisfaction, joy! But it has to start with what you need. Our stuff:
We sell Stand Up Paddle Boards – but you already knew that – however we also sell longboards, mini mals and shortboards for traditional-style surfing (the type without a paddle). Our range of stand up paddle boards includes and Red Paddle Co, Bic Sports, Oxbow, ECS, Surftech, and NSP. Plus we have a huge range of fixed & adjustable paddles – because we believe that paddles are personal, and you’ll want one to suit your style, both sporting and personal.
We also sell every accessory we can think of to help you enjoy your paddling, from board bags and SUP trolleys to rash vests and sunglasses to waterproof phone cases and speakers.
Our Team:
Stand Up Paddle Gear Australia is owned and operated by Kieran Plim. While he has an adventure sports background and has tried many crazy activities, discovering stand up paddle boarding opened the door to a whole new way of life.
Kieran competes in SUP events around Australia from flat water to distance downwind racing. He is an active member of the biggest stand up paddle boarding club in Australia - SPSC.
Stand Up Paddle Gear Australia’s goal is to offer every customer the best customer experience possible, be it asking questions, browsing, buying or maintaining SUP gear.
Branching out by building an accredited SUP training school, workshops and events with the ASI (academy of surfing instructors) was a natural extension of SUP Gear Australia’s business and their passion for this fast growing sport.
