WINNERS ARE GRINNERS!

Our U14 Boys Red team have taken out their Grand Final in nail-biting fashion, claiming a narrow 33-31 victory over Rovers in a game that was anyone's for the taking.

The Knights fell behind early, however with great team-work and a balanced scoring attack, they were able to get themselves back in the game, trading buckets until the final siren.

Free throws were the difference in the end, with our Knights calmly sinking the clutch bucket with 15 seconds to go to secure the match - check it out thanks to Glory League.

Well done to both teams on a great game which was played in good spirits.

And that's a wrap!

The Vytis Knights Presentation Day was bigger and better this year, with over 250 players, coaches, parents and guardians coming together to celebrate a fantastic year.

Special thanks to all of the parents and guardians who help week in week out, with training, games, scoring, taxi and volunteering duties.

Also a shout out to our wonderful volunteers in the kitchen and on the BBQ providing a great lunch for everyone today.

Looking ahead to the Geelong United Basketball Summer 26/27 season, we welcome all current and returning players and coaches, with the Knights entering a record 33 teams across all junior and senior competitions.

We also have some exciting new sponsorship partners coming on board, so stay tuned for those announcements in the coming weeks.

Keep training, improving, helping each other and making our club such a wonderful community to be involved in!

BACK 2 BACK! Our U12 Boys “Shadow Knights” have done it again, taking out the Championship Game against Sharks for the second straight season. The boys were on fire 🔥 straight out the gate, building a 19-5 lead and never looked back. Congrats on the win, and looking forward to another great season in Summer!

Congratulations to our X-Golf Geelong Junior Player of the Round, Zayera Thaheem!

In Round 15, Zayera played amazingly for her U10 Knights Girls, scoring 16 points and helping her team mates with her passing and defence. She also filled in for the Grade 3/4 Mixed Knights, and was a great addition!

Her coach Steve said that "it has been wonderful to watch Zayera develop her skills this season. She is a great team mate and is always looking to get everyone involved".

For her efforts, Zayera has scored a vouched to use at X-Golf Geelong.

Congratulations to our X-Golf Geelong Junior Player of the Round, Jackson Zaparenkov!

In Round 15, Jackson top scored with 12 points for his Prep 1/2 White Knights, helping his team mates to a great win over the Wildcats.

Jackson continues to develop his skills and confidence, helping his team mates and getting everyone involved.

For his efforts, Jackson has scored a voucher for some time at X-Golf Geelong
