Adaptive Boxing in Australia. Building the Pathway
The Australian Adaptive Boxing Council (AABC) is working to build a national competition pathway for adaptive boxing athletes across Australia.
The goal is to establish regional adaptive boxing leagues that allow athletes to train, compete and represent their region.
The first regional league has now been created:
Geelong Adaptive Boxing League
Additional leagues are planned as the sport develops, including Melbourne and potential leagues in other regions.
Athletes competing in regional leagues will eventually have the opportunity to participate in national adaptive boxing events and championships.
This is the beginning of building a structured future for adaptive boxing in Australia.
