I feel like I see so much on social media about what is 'right' and 'wrong' when it comes to exercise and fitness! Fo sho, there are certain rep ranges, weight progressions etc etc that will benefit specific goals but at the end of the day ANY MOVEMENT IS GOOD MOVEMENT! 🤟🤙
For some that might be a 10 min walk, for others it might be a 10 min burpee EMOM (a personal fave 🤣)...my dudes, it doesn't matter! Find exercise you enjoy and have fun 🤩

SUNDAY TROT...my longest run EVER! 😱 I wanted to tap out at the 2km mark but the goal was a 2 hour run...sooo...I just kept going. I think I even enjoyed some of it. Morty gets how I really feel though 🤣

New month (how?!), new goals (yay)!
Lately I seem to like setting fitness goals that really push me 😳 In Feb my goals are to run a total of 100km...and do 50 push ups per day. DOABLE?! Who bloody knows my dudes, but I will give it a crack! 🥵 I did do a 5km trot yesterday...so only 95KMS TO GO 🤣

After a crazy few months - finishing my studies, starting my career as a PT, instructing group fitness classes, managing a gym for 3 weeks, the festive season...LIFE....I finally hit the deck this week and needed a few couch days to rest! I have a tendency to get a bit excited and go go go...then fall in a heap ðŸ˜
If anyone has any tips on how to avoid burnout I would LOVE to hear them! I live a truly balanced life, I eat my veggies and get enough sleep...I'm just a bit of an Energiser bunny that hasn't quite worked out how to recharge effectively 😂

We can't rely on motivation when it comes to exercise and fitness...the couch and snacks will ALWAYS be the more appealing option 🤣 but with a bit of discipline and good habits we can make exercise part of our daily routine!

ON SUNDAY WE TROT.
Goal was to trot for 2hrs.
First hour was okay. Think I hallucinated a bit at the 1.5hr mark. Last 15mins sucked...but I DID IT 😎 Pavement pounded 🤘 Get me a beer.
