It’s a wrap-up for the kids for the year — time has flown by so quickly!

Here are the “thank-you pouches” I made this year ✨
I added some chocolate and a card, and made each pouch with fabrics the kids chose themselves.

One of the teachers is pregnant, so I also made a pair of baby bloomers in a matching fabric and popped them in the bag. I really hope she likes them! 😊

And honestly… school finished so early, and now the super long holiday begins 😂 What should I dooo!?!?!😂

今年のありがとうポーチはこんな感じに出来上がりました✨️
チョコレートとカードをいれて、子供たちの選んだ布で作りました✨️
片方の先生は妊婦さんなので赤ちゃん用のブルマも色違いの生地で作って入れてみました☺喜んでくれたらいいなーと思います!!
それにしても学校終わるのが早すぎて長い長いホリデーの始まりです😂
毎日何しよう…😂

🍞🌈 Fairy Bread Dress 🌈🍞

Last time, when I made the blue ribbon top 🎀, my daughter said she wanted a longer skirt — so this time, I gave it another go! ✊✨️

I used this super cute fairy bread fabric from and made it a bit bigger so she can wear it longer.

She was so excited about the circle skirt twirl 🩷
…but since it’s a bit roomy, the fit wasn’t perfect 😅
Still, she said, “I’m going to wear it to my friend’s birthday party!” 🎉 — so maybe she secretly likes it after all 😂💕

🍞🌈 フェアリーブレッドのワンピース 🌈🍞

前回、青リボン🎀のトップを作ったときに「長いスカートがよかった!!」と言われたのでリベンジ✊️✨️
可愛すぎるフェアリーブレッド（食パンにバターをぬってスプリンクルをふりかけたもの）の生地で、長く着られるように少し大きめに仕立てました☺️

サークルスカートにしたら娘大喜び🥰
…だったのですが、大きめだったのでフィットがイマイチだったようで😅
でも「お友達の誕生日パーティに着ていく✨️」と言ってくれて、文句言いながら意外と気に入ってくれたのかな？と思います😂💕

Daughter’s summer set-up 🌊
It’s getting a bit warmer, and the kids are suddenly wearing lighter clothes!! (Although my kids are pretty much in light clothes all year round 😂)
I made this set-up for my daughter with the cute blue ribbon fabric I got from Spotlight!!
I thought she might not want a dress, so I made a short top instead… but she said, “I wish the skirt was longer〰️” 😂 So tricky!!
Next time, I’ll make the dress just the way she wants!! ✊🩷

娘の夏セットアップ🌊
少し暖かくなってきて、子どもたちは一気に薄着に!!（実はうちの子どもたちは年がら年中薄着なんですが😂）
スポットライトで買った青リボンの可愛い生地で、娘のセットアップを作りました!!
ドレスは嫌かな？と思って短い丈のトップにしたのに、「もっとスカート長ければ良かった〰️」と言われてしまいました😂 うー、難しい!!
次回は希望どおり、ドレスを作りたいと思います!!✊🩷

Hello🩷 It’s been a while since my last post☺
Recently my daughter has been into flared pants and crop tops, so it’s been such a long time since I last made a dress!! 👗
For her little friend’s birthday, I decided to make one as a gift—and of course, I couldn’t resist making a matching one for my daughter too, using a pattern from ☺
Her friend loved it, and I was so happy to be back at dressmaking again✨️
The weather is warming up, so I’m excited to start making clothes for the next season! 🩷

最近は娘がフレアなズボンやクロップトップを好むようになり、本当ーに久々のワンピースづくりをしました!!👗
娘のだいすきなかわいいお友達の誕生日にプレゼントで、娘と勝手にお揃いで@peonypatterns の型紙で仕立てました☺
とっても喜んでくれたし、私も久々にワンピースを作れてハッピーでした✨️
暖かくなってきたのでこれから次の季節の服も作って行きたいです!!🩷

It’s been such a long time since my last post — and even longer since I last sewed!
My sewing table had been taken over by the kids as a ping-pong table and just never made its way back to me… 😂

But my urge to make something finally overflowed, so I ended up cutting fabric right in the playroom ✂️🔥
It felt so good to be back at the sewing machine — pure bliss 🥺🩷

I made this leotard and bike shorts set for my daughter’s gymnastics practice using the most adorable fabric from Nerida Hansen, which I’ve been saving for ages ☺
The pattern is the new Tybee by — it also comes in a separates version, which I’d love to try next! ✨

McDonald siblings set🍟🍔

I totally forgot to post this!
These are the outfits I made for the “favourite food” theme on the last day of the previous term.
When I asked the kids what their favourite food was, they both said “McDonald’s” – of course! 🍟🍔

So I put together a fun and colourful matching set using my collection of vintage McDonald’s fabrics ❤️✨

My daughter requested a heart apron dress, so I used the Bellevue pattern by Little Lizard King and added a heart bib from the Amore pattern by Bebekins Patterns. The skirt is a cheerful patchwork mix! 💕🎀

For my son, I used the Busy Boys Shorts pattern by Pattern Emporium – a go-to I’ve used so many times – and added a matching pocket to a store-bought T-shirt. So fun and comfy! ☀️

Even our dog Poochie loved the outfits – he climbed right on top and made himself comfortable! 🐶

マックセットアップ🍟🍔

すっかり投稿を忘れていましたが!!前のターム最後の日の好きな食べ物のテーマの時に作った服です！子供たちに何がいい？って聞いたら2人揃ってマック!!だそうで😂私のコレクションしてたビンテージな生地を組み合わせて派手派手楽しいマッチングセットができました☺
娘はハートがついたエプロンドレスというリクエストもあり、little lizard kingのBellevueにBebekins patternsのamoreのハートビブをくつっけてみました！スカートは楽しくツギハギで☺♥息子はもう何十枚作ったことか！！というくらいヘビロテの型紙Pattern emporiumのbusy boys shorts patternと市販のティシャツにポケットをつけてみました!!
愛犬ぷーちーも気に入ったみたいで？笑　上に乗っかってリラックスしてました🐶

6th Birthday Dress
This year's theme was Cinnamoroll!
She kept saying she didn’t need a dress this year… until two days before her birthday when she suddenly said, “Actually, I do want one!” I started making it thinking, “There’s no way I’ll finish in time…” but somehow I did—just in time!

I paired her favorite character print with a big white Peter Pan collar and added a gathered skirt for an extra girly look.
She smiled and said, “I want to wear this one!”—and that made all the effort so worth it.

6歳のお誕生日ドレス
今年のテーマはシナモロール！
実は…ギリギリまで「今年はドレスいらない」って言ってたのに、急に「やっぱり欲しい〜」とお願いされて、二日前から「間に合わないやろな〜」と思いながら作り始めました。なんとか完成してよかった…！笑

大好きなキャラの生地に、大きめの白い丸襟を合わせて、ふんわりギャザーでとびきりガーリーに。
「これ着たい！」ってニコニコしてくれたから、寝不足も吹き飛んだよ〜！お誕生日おめでとう！

All the bubbles😍❤️ My girl fell in love and she decided to wear this dress to the beach before the photo shoot and I was scared she might wreck it😅 It was fun and easy to sew and can't wait make another one!

久々の投稿です。
今年初のパターンテストはバルーン袖とスカートがかわいすぎるTwine Tree PatternsのPeridotワンピースです。娘はとても気に入って写真を撮る前に来て海に出かけてしまいました😅これは帰ってきてからバタバタと撮ったものですが、汚れる前でよかったです！笑 また別の布で作るのが楽しみです!

Christmas dress🎄
My daughter had a specific idea for her dress this year so I tried my best to recreate what she wanted!! She was so happy to see this done. It took forever for me to gather skirts and hemming 20m of tulles but it was so worth it!!!!☺

クリスマスドレス🎄
毎年クリスマスパジャマは作るのですが今年は娘のリクエストでドレスも作ってみました!!頭の中に決まったデザインがあったようで、いつも在庫で服を作る私ですが、チュールやら飾りのビーズやらを買い集めて娘の願いを叶えるために頑張ってみました。20メートルのスカート生地をギャザーして、端も処理して…果てしない作業も娘の大喜びする姿をみたら、また作りたくなってしまいます!!☺
クリスマスに間に合ってよかったー😂

She requested a rainbow dress so I had to make one😊🌈 Never done this much tulles and I was little bit worried but turned out gorgeous🩷 She had the best birthday in this dress that she wanted to do all over again next day😂 happy happy birthday my little princess🩷
