๐ Congratulations Arlo Shawcross! ๐ฆ๐บ๐พ
A huge congratulations to WHC High Performance and Olympic Pathway athlete Arlo Shawcross on helping Australia secure a bronze medal at the inaugural BNP Paribas Junior World Team Cup in Knokke-Heist, Belgium.
Representing Australia alongside Sonny Rennison and Joshua Brass, Arlo played a key role in a fantastic campaign that saw the team finish third in the world. The Australians topped their pool with undefeated wins over the USA, Brazil and Italy before narrowly missing a place in the final after a heartbreaking semifinal loss to Japan.
The team finished the tournament in style, defeating the USA 2-0 in the bronze medal playoff to claim a place on the podium.
This outstanding achievement is a testament to Arloโs dedication, resilience and commitment to excellence. We are incredibly proud to see one of our student-athletes competing and succeeding on the world stage.๐๐งก
