We formed an all girl percussion group about 10 years back incorporating afrobeat grooves on drum kit and doundouns! This number is called Moribayassa. It's a popular traditional Guinean Rhythm I've taught you all in Class over the years

These include, but are not limited to...



👉 who my audience is
👉 how many people I need to engage
👉 how many drums I'm supplying
👉 what the group's desired outcome/s are
👉 type of venue & seating available
👉 time frame available for activity
👉 where it fits into the overall event schedule
👉 how quickly I need to remove drums from the space
👉 time allocated for set up. It might be very brief!
👉 size of the space available. Is it open or contained?
👉 will participants be able to see & hear me?
👉 participation style? Will the group be staying for the duration of the activity, or transient (free to come and go at will)?
