Rams Skins Tournament 2025

Well, what a weekend of Mateship and Softball!

We cant thank everyone that attended enough for such a great 3 days of ball, s**t talk and beers! Like most that have been involved in this tournament previoulsy, we mark it on the calendar early and look forward to this weekend so so much (Planning for next years trip has begun already). The Softball is great but the chance to catch up with such a large group of wonderful people from all over WA is the highlight, so again, thank you all for keeping this great tournament alive and kicking!

To all the crew that assisted in anyway, prior to the weekend, during the weekend or assisting with the cleanup, your efforts did not go unnoticed and the weekend does not happen without you all, Thank You for all you did!

To the organising gang - Hold your heads high, I believe we nailed it and that doesnt happen without your dedication, ideas and efforts.

We hope that some of the adjustments we made to the weekends proceedings, enhanced the Skins experience, we would love to hear feedback to pass onto Bunbury for next year.

As far as the Softball goes, Well done to all teams but Congrats to Steelers for making it Back to Back Skins wins! Another amazing performance by Benjamin Button (Heath Buswell), taking out the Karen Harris Medal for Best on Ground in the Grand Final. The type of person who fits right in at Skins, so we hope to see you back!

Another ageless wonder in Graeme Cook was the standout player over the weekend winning the MVP of the tournament as well as Highest Batting Average, congrats Cookie and a magnificent weekend!

Welcome to Cooper Jefferies (Bevan's Doppelganger) and well done on your efforts for Tom Price and taking out the Runner up MVP!

Highest fielding Average went to Mr Energy himself from Pirates, Steven Terry.

The same formula to determine MVP was used to determine our All Star Team of 10, designed to be the best lineup of the weekends performers. Graeme Cooke, Cooper Jefferies, Bevan Yeomans, Shane Clark, Dean Pascoe, Paul Valenti, Lucas Cheeseman, Bryce Baker, Kyle Auhl & Elliot Giddens.

The newest award and the most prestigious is the Spirit of Softball award, which is handed out to the person who best demonstrates those qualities we love to see such as sportsmanship and positivity. I dont think anyone will argue with this years recipient, Bevan Yeomans, well deserved fella!

Lastly, we celebrate those who have forged their own legacy at Skins by attending their 10th tournament. Congrats to the following legends, Steve Yeomans, Marty Carroll, Bart Lethlean, Ryan Menaglio, MiniGus Smith and Sean Corrigan.
