It’s probably been about 3 weeks since we went away but I’ve finally got around to posting this - I honestly don’t know how I ever used to travel and just eat takeaway for every meal?! We did a day trip to the wildflowers this week that almost justified the fridge because of the amount of food we packed 😂

Do you travel with food? Tell me what you take so I can be inspired for our next roadtrip!

After my first 5 day work week in 3 and a half years, you know exactly the first thing we were doing this morning 🤙

It has been the wildest feeling returning to “paid” work, like I don’t want to be away from the kids but then at the same time it’s so addictive to earn money again! I’m obviously just so fortunate to be able to do it while they are with Jord because it takes away that constant “I hope they’re okay thought” but that’s instead just replaced with fomo since I don’t get to hang out too 😂

I’ve only been meaning to post this for about a month now, so not sure how successful I’m going to be with all of those grand plans that I have 😂

But in all seriousness, I’m so freakin grateful to have this opportunity to switch roles with my hubby and have him as a stay at home dad because it’s something that most Mum’s could only dream of! So I definitely WILL NOT be taking it for granted and WILL BE doing everything I can to make it all happen!

Officially the people who choose to go running on holiday.. Even if I almost reconsidered the run after waking to a 5 degree morning 😅 but as you can see by the removal of layers as we go, it ended up a BEAUTIFUL morning!

Highlights: Just one 2.5km out and 2.5km back and you obviously can’t beat a scenic coastal location.

Lowlights: For us with the bike trailer the narrow path made it hard to maintain our pace trying to get around people.
