🌟 Girls on Base Program 🌟

Looking for something fun to do? Want to meet new people, learn new skills or simply give something different a go?

The Geraldton Softball Association is excited to launch our FREE 6-week Girls on Base Program, designed to introduce girls aged 9–17 years to softball in a fun, supportive and welcoming environment before the 2026/27 softball season begins in October.

Whether you’re looking to get active, make new friends, build your confidence, or discover a new sport, this program is for you!

Run by girls, for girls, the program is open to all experience levels, whether you’ve never picked up a glove before or you’re already playing and want to develop your skills.

🕓 Time: 4:45 pm
👧 Ages: 9 - 17 years

Over the 6 weeks you’ll:
🥎 Learn and develop softball skills
⭐ Hear from experienced female softball players
🤝 Meet new friends in a fun and inclusive environment
💚 Build confidence on and off the diamond

✨ No experience required
✨ Experienced players are welcome
✨ No equipment needed, just wear comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes
✨ All girls aged 9 - 17 are welcome

Welcome to the 2026/27 softball season! We hope everyone has had a great off-season and is as excited as we are to get back on the diamond for another fantastic season of softball. 💚💛💙

Following our recent AGM, we’d like to introduce the Geraldton Softball Association Committee for the 2026/27 season. We’d also like to thank our outgoing Committee Members for their service to the Association, warmly welcome our new Committee Members, and thank those returning for continuing to volunteer their time and support. Your commitment plays a vital role in the success of our Association.

As we prepare for another exciting season, we also want to share that there are some exciting things happening behind the scenes. We’re excited to be moving closer to the start of our new dugout project on diamond 1 and hope to see work commence soon. We are also reviewing and preparing some updates to the bylaws, which will be shared with clubs in due course. In addition, a new program is coming very soon and we can’t wait to reveal more details as they are finalised.

As always, we’d like to remind clubs and members that important information will be emailed directly throughout the pre-season and season. Please keep an eye on your inbox so you don’t miss any important updates, announcements and opportunities.

Our first Presidents’ Meeting for the season will be held on Wednesday, 26 August, with invitations and further details to be sent to clubs shortly.
