RND8 Wrap up - a mixed bag for The Saints SFFC on the weekend. U8s did well to avoid the mud in Greenvale in what was the coldest start to the day we have had. With all our other games played at the same time - we survived!! Our U10s had a successful day with Jase at the helm and a great team effort - our senior leaders earning their supper this week that's for sure. Coburg Districts was a lovely team to play and the kids had some great Umpires to boot. Our U12s had a tough loss at Westie but with a week off from footy this week it's come at a good time to regroup for the back end of the season. Time to kick it up a gear! Our U14s played Paco in a competitive but early game for our boys! We know with each game they are closer to the result they deserve so the break comes at a good time to train and gather more skills. Stay focused, Go Saints! π’ πππ€

RND7 Wrap up - the U8s played Keilor this morning early, displaying some great sportsmanship and having lots of fun! U10s had a tough round against Greenvale4 in what was the most competitive game of the 2026 season so far for this team. Lots to work through this week while they regroup. U12s played Roxborough Park in another close one, only to be pipped at the post by 1 goal. It wasn't the day for The Saints SFFC this week but that's football and we know how to bounce back stronger than ever!
U14s showed immense promise, leading the game in the first half of their match against Ascot Vale 2. Unfortunately the Panthers came home strong in the final half and pulling away to a 26 point lead at full time. The Saint Lions putting in a good effort that wasn't reflected in the score today. Well done to all our teams in a tough round 7.
Go SAINTS π€ππ

Round 6 wrap up - Great round for The Saints SFFC on Sunday.
The Saints had a strong start with their superstar U8s facing off against Oak Park RD - the Saints showcasing their talent as great little footy players!! π
The U10s had an absolutely stellar game with a win against Westmeadows. A wonderful team effort to see. π
Our U12s had a slow start to their match against Oak Park 2 letting the opposition get a lead that proved difficult to reign back in. There was a lot to feel positive about with some new members of the team joining and everyone learning the new dynamic. We can see the talent this team has and with some hard work it will turn into results.
U14s Coburg Junior Football Club / Saints team had another slow start to their game with West Coburg, the opposition getting away to a 60pt lead. The mighty Saint Lions regrouped at half time and closed the gap without letting West Coburg get anything on the board. Lots to be positive about, it was an exciting game to watch and with the progressive performance we're seeing - next week will be their week to shine!

RND5 Wrap up - what a great week of results for the Saints with our kids turning it on for Mothers Day! With a game schedule that would make most rock in a corner, the Saints brought their A Game time and time again. U8s had a competitive game against Hillside early and unfortunately some of the 8s had to sacrifice their game to allow U10s to get on the field at the same time. Proving to be no easy feat! Credit to our families who are resilient and steadfast we got all 3 sides in the field on time. U10s had a red eye game at 8:30AM and despite this came out strong to take home a convincing win against Craigieburn 3. Some fantastic football with lower than usual numbers. I look fwd to watching this teams trajectory over the '26 season. U12s played at Essendon at an early timeslot too with a great game against Doutta Stars2. Very competitive and exciting match to the very end! Wonderful to see our competitive spirit strong.
U14s Saints/ Coburg Lions team had a tough day in the office with a difficult game against Doutta Stars2. There were positive performances on field and the team has more potential to unlock together in the coming weeks. We know they are building something special together.

RND3 Grading Wrap Up - it was a ripper day for The Saints SFFC with some beautiful sunshine and lots of footy! U8s played competitively with Abers straight out of the gate. Archie celebrated his 50th Game with the Saints and the U10s went on to bring home a win against Merrifield 2, a great result well deserved. U12s rounded out a beautiful morning on the SAINTS deck with a big win against Hillside 2. Am example of brilliant team work across the team to get almost every player a goal. Extraordinary stuff from our Juniors this week!
Our U14s Coburg Junior Football Club & SAINTS side had a tough game against St Albans this week, this team has real talent and hasn't yet discovered the success we all know they can achieve!
Go Saints! Bring on RND4! πππ€πͺ
