🏆 GOLD COAST ROLLERS — 2026 NBL1 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS
Our Gold Coast Rollers have capped off their 2026 season by defeating the Forestville Eagles 70–67 in overtime to claim the 2026 NBL1 National Championship in Adelaide.
After winning the NBL1 North Championship two weeks ago, the Rollers travelled to Adelaide for three games in three days, finishing the weekend with the National Championship.
Sunday's final was another tight contest between Gold Coast and Forestville following Friday night's 85–84 result.
The Rollers led 18–17 at quarter-time, with scores tied 39–39 at half-time. Forestville gained the advantage in the third quarter before Gold Coast worked its way back into the contest.
With the game on the line late, Ash McGrath hit a three to level the scores and send the Championship Game into overtime at 63–63.
Gold Coast then outscored Forestville in the extra period to secure the 70–67 win and the National Championship.
