Yoga was one thing I was always very curious about. Being very intuned with my inner self and being into alternative health - one would think that I would be the first to jump on the bang wagon and start practicing yoga on a daily basis. Yes I thought so also. However every time I gave yoga a go - I was left feeling annoyed, frustrated and even angry. Quite the opposite of what I was expecting. So I thought yoga is not my thing.

However after daily yoga classes at the health retreat I went to in Bali, I realised that Yoga is not just a fitness fad but a therapeutic practice. And as any spiritual/therapeutic practice - yoga can stir up a lot of unconscious emotions, both good and bad. The key is to recognize them and work on them.

Now I am working on introducing yoga into my daily life and I am starting with a restorative yoga. Fortunately there’s a lot of yoga apps and YouTube videos, meaning I don’t even need to leave Milan.

Sometimes we take our relationships as a norm, without realizing the full impact it has on us and our health.

Have you ever noticed how you reach out for a glass of wine, or a tab of chocolate ice cream when your guy goes MIA on you? Or how you lose your sleep when you feel the relationship is not going anywhere? Or maybe how that one time you lost your cool and took your frustration out on someone because the guy you are with is mistreating you somehow? Sounds healthy? Not really!! Imagine the long term impact on one’s wellbeing in such relationships? Frustration, anxiety and even depression perhaps...

Being of good heath means being in balance with all the aspects that make you - YOU.
It’s the
🌱Physical state of your body, as well as it’s
🌱Mental and
🌱Spiritual states.
If you let one of those pillars be out of balance for too long - the whole temple (you) will eventually collapse. All the relationships we form with others are responsible for our mental (and sometimes spiritual) state. And if those relationships are toxic, or unhealthy - you body will be out of alignment. And no matter how you try, how many smoothies you drink, or how many hours you spend in the gym - you won’t be able to reach that balance unless you address the issue.

Milan is so blessed to have the kind of father that he does. The thoughtful, loving and caring kind that is!! Daddy comes home early to give mummy a break and to spend some quality time with his boy!! Hope everyone else’s Friday is also going great!!

Anyone is a coffee cup reader? This was my cup after tasting a in . I must say I have been off the caffeine for years now, but Icouldn’t miss on the opportunity of trying the most expensive coffee in the world - regardless of how it is made. So who can see what in my cup? I can definitely see a sea shell. Anyone knows what it means? @ Tegallalang, Bali, Indonesia
