Dear Me,
Remember when Sass and Soul was just an idea?
A tiny spark in your head that felt impossible, terrifying, exciting, and a little delusional all at once?
You almost talked yourself out of it.
You wondered who would come.
Who would believe in it.
Whether women would actually want what you had to offer.
But deep down, you knew this was never just about dance.
It was about women walking into a room feeling invisible… and leaving feeling powerful.
It was about confidence.
Connection.
Healing.
Freedom.
It was about giving women permission to take up space in their own bodies again.
And somehow… you did it.
You built a sisterhood.
Not just classes. Not just shows. A movement.
Women who once hid in the back now stand under stage lights.
Women who hated photos now post themselves proudly.
Women who forgot who they were found pieces of themselves again through Sass and Soul.
That happened because you were brave enough to start.
There were moments nobody saw though.
The stress.
The money worries.
The late nights editing, planning, choreographing, replying, fixing problems, carrying everything on your shoulders while still trying to smile for everyone else.
The times you questioned whether you could keep going.
But every single moment proved something to you.
This mattered.
From tiny venues to selling out workshops and putting on huge shows, from nervous beginners to women becoming absolute forces onstage — you created something real. Something people feel.
And that’s rare.
Not everyone will understand the work behind it.
They’ll see sequins and confidence and applause.
But you know what it took to build this.
You gave people a place to belong.
That is legacy work.
So when you feel exhausted, overwhelmed, or like you’re falling behind, remember this:
Sass and Soul exists because you refused to let fear make your decisions.
And one day, when this grows even bigger than you imagined — bigger shows, bigger audiences, bigger impact — you’ll look back at the version of yourself sitting there wondering if she was capable enough…
And you’ll smile.
Because she already was.
Love always,
Me
