Nominations are now open for the 2026 Goondiwindi Campdraft

And don’t forget if you’re eligible for the Encouragement Rider award, go to Nominate → Nominate Without a Horse → Encouragement and make sure you select it.

While you’re nominating, please also help us with catering numbers for the Camp Oven Dinner and Sunday night slow-cooker dinner for the Footy Grand Final.

If you are eligible for the Encouragement Rider award, please make sure you register this correctly when nominating in Campdraft One.

To do this:
Go to the Nominate tab
Select Nominate Without a Horse
Choose Encouragement
Complete and submit your nomination

This helps us make sure all eligible Encouragement Riders are recorded correctly for the weekend.

The countdown is on for the Goondiwindi Campdraft 3rd to 5th October 2026 and we’re getting very close to releasing this year’s program. There’s plenty to look forward to, including our feature:

A campdraft does not come together by itself.

Behind every run are volunteers organising cattle, preparing the grounds, chasing sponsorship, planning the program, working in the office, feeding competitors, and doing countless jobs that often go unseen.

We're putting together a weekend of quality campdrafting, good cattle, plenty of laughs, and the genuine country hospitality. Bring the family, catch up with mates, enjoy everything happening around the grounds, and if you're continuing on to Condamine, there's no need to rush off - Gundy is the perfect place to spend the long weekend before the Big Three begins.
