SAILORS JUNIOR PRESENTATION NIGHT
It’s time to celebrate our amazing Sailors Juniors and another fantastic season of hockey!
We invite all our junior players and families to join us for our 2026 Junior Presentation Night as we recognise our players, celebrate their achievements and enjoy one final get-together as a Sailors family.

FINAL FUNDRAISING RAFFLE FOR 2026!

Sailors Hockey Club has joined forces with Headspace Grafton for our final fundraising raffle of the year and we have a fantastic prize up for grabs! 🎧

A huge thank you to Headspace Grafton for generously donating a set of Apple AirPods as our raffle prize. We really appreciate their support of our Sailors community.

Tickets will be available at both Sailors Presentation events so make sure you bring along some cash and grab your tickets!

Friendly Reminder as We Head Towards Finals

As another fabulous hockey season is coming close to the end and we will soon head into semi-finals, it’s a good time to remind everyone about what we want the Sailors Hockey Club to be known for.

We are a family club, and we pride ourselves on respect, sportsmanship and supporting one another.

As spectators, we all have an important role to play. Please remember to:
* Cheer for our players and celebrate their efforts.
* Respect the opposition
* Respect our umpires and officials and the decisions they make.
* Lift people up, rather than pull them down.

Finals hockey can be exciting, competitive and emotional. That’s part of what makes it great! But no result or decision is more important than how we conduct ourselves on the sidelines.
Our players, particularly our juniors, are watching and learning from us. Let’s make sure we are modelling the behaviour we expect from them.
Let’s finish the season showing everyone what being part of the Sailors Hockey family is all about.

Under 18s
Last weekend saw many of our Sailor lads take the fields at Marang for the Under 18 State Championships. Our boys did us proud and the whole team did a marvellous job throughout the tournament. Well done Sailors

We are excited to share details about one of the most popular and highly anticipated events on the hockey calendar, the York Cup and Kim Small Shield Carnival in Tamworth for our Under 12 players, taking place later this July.

This carnival is always a highlight of the season. It brings together young players from across the region for a fantastic weekend of hockey, teamwork and sportsmanship. For many of our athletes, it’s a wonderful opportunity to experience representative-style competition in a fun and supportive environment.
