Gravesend Fishing Club is a proud community-run club dedicated to honoring the legacy of our late president, Mason Daley. With his mum now leading the charge, we continue to grow the club in his memory—bringing people together, giving back to the community, and making a difference through fishing. All profits go directly to environmental projects, community infrastructure, and local causes—not for personal gain. From running fishing competitions to selling club shirts and gear, every effort helps us fund improvements and make Mason proud.

Happy Father’s Day from Gravesend Fishing Club

Today we celebrate all the incredible Dads, Stepdads, Pops, Grandfathers, Father Figures and the special men who have stepped up, shown up and helped shape the lives of those around them.

To the dads who taught us how to bait a hook, cast a line and patiently wait for that first bite. To the ones who took us fishing before the sun came up, untangled countless lines, told the same stories around the campfire and created memories we didn’t realise at the time would mean so much. 💙

And to those whose dads, grandfathers or father figures are no longer here with us — we know days like today can be especially meaningful. May the stories, lessons, laughs and memories you shared always stay close. 🎣

Whether you're spending today on the river, around the BBQ, with family and mates, or simply enjoying a quiet one...

Happy Father’s Day to all the great men in our fishing community and beyond.

The Mason Daley Memorial Cod Classic is back in 2027 — and it’s shaping up to be another massive weekend!

📅 12, 13 & 14 March 2027

Lock it in, round up your fishing mates and start getting ready for a weekend of fishing, mateship, laughs, prizes and plenty of memories on the water.

More information will be released as we get closer, including registrations, categories, prizes and everything you need to know.
