The Carnival of Cups 2022 𝐅𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 event on Saturday evening concluded with the 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠'𝐬 𝐏𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭 '𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐥𝐞' category. The very well presented couple, Blue Menzies and Danny Roller, joined us again and were very excited to receive the twin sashes and fabulous prizes. A big thank you goes to kingspocket.com.au for supporting the category with a generous voucher and beautiful pendant prize for the winners. Blue and Danny also received a gorgeous bouquet of flowers from Starfish Florist, gift vouchers from Ron Dalla, Revive on Banna and Griffith City Cinemas, a gift from John Dodd Pharmacy, and a bottle of wine each from Mino & Co Wines and . Saturday's Carnival of Cups 2022 𝐅𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 event began with the 𝐆𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐦𝐚'𝐬 '𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫' announcement – and a very sweet line up of young ladies got us off to a fabulous start. Ten year old Aurora was the stand-out entrant on the day, taking the coveted sash. A big thank you to Griffith City Cinemas Star Bowling Family Funland for supporting this category and providing a generous voucher for our winner. Aurora also received a gift voucher from Il Corso Cafe, and a new plushy friend. Thanks to our sponsors and to all of the families who joined in the fun.

With the humidity and the threat of an all-night storm on Saturday night, most of the gentlemen in attendance at the Carnival of Cups 2022 were not so keen on dressing up or wearing a tie. But the weather held, and we had one clear winner and one 'very good sport' in the 𝐌𝐃𝐌 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐞𝐧 '𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐭' 𝐅𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 category. Thank you Craig for joining in and entertaining the crowd. And congratulations to Danny Roller for being our most stylish entry, taking out the sash. We appreciate the support from MDM for Men, with their generous voucher donation. Striking headpieces really take the stage at Spring Racing events, and there were a couple of lovely examples on display at the Carnival of Cups 2022 on Saturday night. Blue Menzies told us her very attractive pink hat has been sitting in a box for 15 years, with labels still attached, until this event! The 𝐅𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐟𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭 '𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐲' winner was Leonni Whalan, wearing a pretty piece created by her daughter, Liz Paterson ELP Millinery. Liz was beautifully presented, and is widely known for creating her own stunning gowns and headpieces.
