The Green Machine defeated The Has Beens - 78 vs 38

A fitting conclusion to what has been a fantastic season of Nines football. Congratulations to The Advengers for being the inaugural Gympie AFL Nines champions and well done to all 4 teams for putting on such a terrific first up season. It was great to see so many smiling faces throughout it all and such competitive football played each night. Thank you once again to all the volunteers who made it the success that it was, we will see you all once again in 2026 for a bigger and better season!

Tomorrow night concludes the Nines season. As usual, the club is open from 4:30pm onwards, come on in early to have a kick around. Don’t forget, there is a feed being put on by the club afterwards, please hang back for a laugh and celebrate what has been a terrific inaugural season of social footy. We can’t wait to see you all there!

***Final Round Celebration***

To conclude our inaugural AFL Nines season, the club is putting on a free feed for our final round of the season on Monday 15th! Please stay back for a bite to eat from the canteen. The bar will also be open for you to grab a beverage. Meals will be ready about 6:45pm, but kids can get themselves something beforehand.

We hope to see as many of you as possible to celebrate what has been such a tremendous program.

A really good night of football once more, played in really good spirits. You can see the improvement from all teams, especially the youngsters and the players who are new to the game. We will catch you all next Monday for the final round!

Round 5 tomorrow night @ Ray Warren Oval. Club facilities open at 4:30pm. All players and spectators welcome!

The oval has had a fresh cut, so it should make for fast and competitive matches. Please try and be down on ground level ready to go for a 6pm start. We look forward to seeing you all there tomorrow night!

Weather is looking much better for Round 4 to get under way. It would be wise to bring some football boots if you have them, as there has been quite a bit of rain over the weekend and the conditions could well be soft. We look forward to seeing you all there tomorrow night!
