Mount Magnet VFRS - #47 Junior & Senior Running Team Mount Magnet Fire Brigade 47 Competition Side Mount Magnet Volunteer Fire Brigade have a long standing tradition of participating in running team events. Go 47!

After a few years away from the track some of the Juniors have grown up and have decided to get a team back together for the 2014 State Championships. Along with some new faces and with the support of a multitude of people from Magnet and around the state lets see what can come of the championships this year!

The Ross Burrows Memorial Fire Brigade Running Track

Our track in the middle of the outback may look basic to some - but it’s drenched in history and heart!

Ross was a foundation member 1961-1973 with the track officially opening in 1987.

Almost 32 years to the day the refurbishment was completed.

Today our numbers are small but our hearts are just as big 🤎💛
