A little late due to a Byron Bay vacay - but seeds saved from last year are germinating!
Tomato ‘Jaune Flamme' seeds
Climbing (indeterminate) orange coloured tomatoes. A French heirloom tomato producing juicy round apricot orange golf-ball sized fruit. Fruit contains high levels of Vitamin A due to its orange colouration.
Great for drying, roasting or eating fresh, has a slight citrusy flavour.

Did you know iPhones have the ability to identify a plant based off a photo taken (without downloading an app)???
Here are the steps 👇
Take a photo of the plant you wish to identify
Go into your photo library and select that image
Tap the information icon ℹ️ at the bottom of your image and the name of the plant will appear
Not an iPhone user? Don't worry, there are plenty of apps that you can access, such as 'PlantNet' and 'LeafSnap' 💪

🥬 Iceberg lettuce 🥬
Until I grew my own iceberg lettuce I never realized how much time, water, sun and love they needed!
Iceberg lettuce plants take somewhere between 55 and 90 days to be ready for harvest. Depending on the size. They can bolt when planted in summer, so sow indoors from mid Winter or directly in the garden after danger of frost has passed, and again after Summer heat has eased.
This one was planted in mid-spring so hoping to harvest before it bolts!

Happy New Years Eve!
Today I’ve spent my day gardening (despite the hot weather), writing, and with friends. The perfect way to end 2021.
Tonight I celebrate the year that was, and welcome the year ahead.
Wishing you and your families all the love, joy, health and wealth in 2022!

🐝 Check out this pollinator 🐝
Is it a bee, a wasp, a fly? I cannot identify it but it loved coming to collect pollen from the native Hounds Tongue!
Was very peaceful and happy to have its photo taken 😍
Happy Saturday 💕

🪴 First fig tree cuttings have bloomed 🪴
We have over 30 fig tree cuttings nurtured since early spring and so happy they have showing evidence that they’ve rooted!
We will continue to nurture them for a year and then offer them for donation at our garden centre 🥰
Then it will be from our garden to yours 💕
