What a cracker of a weekend at the Vintage and Veteran Short Course Classic!

Moo-Too | Morgan Leck — Morgan had a ripper run in the 150–200HP class, with Macho Man from HFR hunting him down right to the finish. Morgan held on for 1st place by just TWO SECONDS!

Burning Time | Makayla Leck — Makayla had an absolute ball in the Women’s Trophy, taking 2nd place, while also taking 1st in the 550cc class!

Miss Mavis | Mavis Leck — Mavis made her J1 racing debut, putting in a ripper run to take 1st in her time trial! Unfortunately, the foot pedal decided it was done for the day!

A massive thank you to all our LRT crew, trailer drivers and the Vintage & Veterans Club for an awesome weekend.

Three boats, three drivers, plenty of laughs and some bloody good racing!

What a day down at St George Motor Boat Club! 🏁🌊

Makayla made her debut at St George, and let’s just say… it was definitely an adventure! 😂 The water was rough, the racing was tough, but she powered through it all and managed to have plenty of fun along the way. 💪🏼🔥

After 10 races, Makayla came away with 4th overall, which is a fantastic result for her first time racing at St George! 👏🏼🏆

And, in true Makayla fashion, she finally figured out the best race line… in the last race, just before the 10-minute marathon! 😂 Better late than never, right?

A great day of racing, learning and plenty of laughs. We’re super proud of her effort and can’t wait to see what the next race brings! 💙🏁
