What an incredible Grand Final performance, defeating Bulleen Templestowe U11 Mixed 88–23! 🔥👏

From the first whistle to the final siren, the team showed incredible teamwork, energy and determination to finish their season on the biggest stage.

Congratulations to Hawthorn Citz U12 Mixed 1 — 2026 Premiers! 🏆

Going up against Kew Comets U12 Mixed 1, who had been undefeated all season, Citz knew they would have to give it absolutely everything — and they did just that! 💪

After an incredible battle, our U12 Mixed 1 came away with the win 29–23! 🙌🏆

A huge congratulations to every player for an incredible season of teamwork, determination and never giving up. What an achievement! 👏

And of course, a massive thank you to the coaches, families and supporters who have cheered them on all season.

What a game. What a season. What a way to finish! 👏

Our U14 Mixed 2 took on Kew Bears U14 Mixed in an incredible Grand Final, coming away with a 65–53 victory! 🔥

A huge congratulations to every player for the commitment, teamwork and determination you’ve shown all season. You should be incredibly proud! 💪

And to the families, coaches and supporters who have been there every step of the way — this one is yours too! 🙌

This Sunday, we’re coming together to celebrate another fantastic season of Citz football!

There’ll be plenty of food and drinks available throughout the afternoon and evening:

🥧 Canteen: Open from 3.30pm with pies, hot dogs, dim sims, soft drinks and juice
🍻 Bar: Open from 3.30pm
🌭 BBQ: Sausages ready from 3.45pm
🍔 Grill’d Burgers: Arriving at approximately 4.30pm
🍕 Pizza Religion pizzas: From approximately 5.30pm

FINALS WEEKEND WRAP UP🏆

What a huge day of finals footy for Hawthorn Citz! 💛🤎
A massive congratulations to our U11-3, U15-2 and U14-2 Girls (Hawthorn Comets) who won their Qualifying Finals and earning a well-deserved week off before heading straight into the 2026 Grand Final! 🏆

Congratulations also to our U12-1, U14-1 and U11 Girls, who all won their elimination finals and will head into Preliminary Finals next weekend. 👏

Our U13-1, U14-2 and U14-1 Girls unfortunately didn’t get the wins today in their Qualifying Finals, but their seasons aren’t over yet — they’ll be back next Sunday and we will be cheering them on. 💪

Sadly, it wasn’t to be for our U15-1 Boys, who are out after a tough elimination final. A huge congratulations to the boys on an outstanding season. ❤️

Lastly, a very special congratulations to Jude, who celebrated his incredible 100-game milestone today! 💯 What a fantastic achievement!

It looks like we’ve got six more finals games next Sunday, with at least three Citz teams already guaranteed a spot in the 2026 Grand Finals. 🙌

Our U13 Division 1 boys had a great night preparing for their Qualifying Final this weekend, with a little extra guidance from former Adelaide, Gold Coast and Port Adelaide AFL player Rory Atkins. 🏉

A huge thank you to Rory Atkins for giving his time, sharing his experience and helping the next generation.
