I find it hard to buy straighter style skirts to fit me well and so I often end up with gathered skirt or circle skirts. But this one is ok. This is my tester before I use my nice safe coloured linen. If you are interested in this style skirt let me know and I’d be happy to make you one .

Yesterday I was in spotlight and the have a gorgeous range of soft flannelette in stock. I bought these prints to make my little people some PJs for winter. I just team them with a jumper and put an appliqué on the front of the matching print. I figure buying in February means I should get them made by the time it cools down enough for them 😂

Hello everyone! We have had a busy start to our year in our family with a child having surgery and then family visiting and finally this week Mr 5 started prep!
This year I’m having a bit of a change in direction, I’ll still be making activewear to sell at Phoenix Gymnastics locally.
My dance and swimwear range will mostly be by custom order now (as they mostly are anyway) - I will soon be having a massive sale on my in stock swimwear so stay tuned!

Something I will be adding, is creating beautiful dresses for weddings and events, I love making formal dresses and flower girl and bridesmaids dresses and even a special outfit for an event. I love to make beautiful things that fit well to your body shape, something that is flattering and makes you feel amazing.
I’m so excited to be doing something new this year!

I couldn’t resist these cute prints at Spotlight last week. Mr 5 loves bin chickens so I know this will be worn every week! And Miss 3 is tall and skinny so store bought dresses need to have bike pants underneath, so I make them a wee bit longer for hot days. The jelly fish print is fun! I know I generally make swim and dancewear but if you’d like some regular clothes for your kids or yourself just send me a message. I have lots of patterns to choose from!

I realise it’s been a while since I posted here but life has been very busy lately! September brings 4 of us having a birthday a week apart from each other. Plus my son has his formal next week and I travelled to Brisbane last week as I received an award for my other ‘work’ in foster care and Hope in a Suitcase. I e barely been in my sewing room! But the weather is warming up so get your swimwear orders in now, especially if you want them as Christmas gifts! My main supplier now only does preorder so my cut off times for orders will be much earlier than usual. I’ll be posting dates later today hopefully for orders.
