⚽️ 34 GAMES DOWN... AND WE'RE NOT FINISHED YET! ⚽️

Yesterday, Northern Stars Football Academy travelled to take on Sunshine Coast Fire in another fantastic day of football against high-quality opposition.

Across the U9 to U12/13 age groups, our players were challenged by strong teams, competitive matches and some outstanding talent on display from both clubs.

But perhaps the biggest story isn't just yesterday's games...
For some of our Northern Stars teams, yesterday marked their 34th game of the season already.

With another four tournaments still to come before the end of the season, some of our players are on track to play more than 60 quality matches this season.

Why does that matter?

Because development doesn't happen in training alone.

Players improve by experiencing different opponents, different challenges, different game situations and different environments. Every match provides another opportunity to learn, adapt and grow.

While many young footballers may play a limited number of competitive fixtures throughout a season, our academy players are gaining invaluable experience week after week against a variety of opposition.

Yesterday's fixtures against Sunshine Coast Fire were another excellent example of that process. High-quality games, plenty of competitive moments and another step forward in the development journey of our players.

Our Northern Stars Holiday Clinic is back with TWO exciting sessions for players aged U8–U12!

🏆 DAY 1 – MINI WORLD CUP
📅 Thursday 2 July
Players will be drafted into international teams and compete in our action-packed Mini World Cup tournament!

⚽️ DAY 2 – SKILLS DEVELOPMENT CLINIC
📅 Friday 3 July
Focused on first touch, ball mastery, finishing, passing, movement and confidence building through game-based training.

⏰ 9:00AM – 12:00PM
📍 Hervey Bay
💰 $45 per day or $80 for both days
