As our tournament comes to an end, I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who was part of the Grace Jumpers journey.
Although we fell short in the semifinal, I couldn’t be prouder of this amazing team. Every player gave their heart, fought until the final whistle, and represented Grace Jumpers with passion, respect, and teamwork. Winning is always the goal, but the character, unity, and effort this team showed are something to be proud of.
I also want to sincerely apologise to the players who didn’t get as much playing time as they deserved. As a coach and manager, making those decisions was never easy. Every decision was made with the team’s best interests in mind. Please know that every one of you was an important part of this team. Whether you were on the court or supporting from the bench, your contribution mattered. Basketball is a team sport, and we win together and lose together.
A very special thank you to our three players who travelled from Melbourne and one player who travelled from Launceston to represent Grace Jumpers. Your commitment, sacrifice, and support mean more than words can express. To our Hobart players, thank you for your hard work, dedication, and belief in this team.
To our families, friends, and everyone who came to support us or cheered us on from afar, thank you. Your encouragement meant everything to us.
