On a day without a whole lot to highlight, Henry stood taller than the rest.

He’s got work rate coming out of his ears and just continued to will himself into contest after contest, both offensively and defensively.

After getting a taste of senior football earlier in the year, he’s continued to be a reliable teammate and someone his side can count on to show up when it matters.

The cherry on top of his week may have been the invitation to the Rosbrook Gannon Medal, but they’ll always remember their first Panton Hill Hotel Player of the Week.

Excited to see Henry turn up again for his boys this Sunday as they look to get the job done.

🏉 2027 JUNIOR FOOTBALL COACHING | EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

What a season it’s been for Hurstbridge Junior Football! 💙💛

As we look to 2027, all Junior Football coaching positions are now open for application.

We’re looking for good football people with a strong understanding of the game and the ability to teach and develop young players – from fundamentals and skills through to game strategy, positioning and team football.

🏉 ALL POSITIONS U9-U17 OPEN

✅ Strong football knowledge a must
✅ Player development skills essential
✅ Coaching or similar experience
✅ Current WWCC (or to obtain)
✅ Current AFL Coaching Accreditation, or ability to obtain

HFNC are stoked to announce the re-signing of emerging talent Zak Casey for 2027!

A very productive first year in H-Town, Zak certainly didn’t mess about.

Finding his niche with the Colts predominantly through the wings at BFO, while also showing he can complement the engine room when called upon.

A well-balanced footballer with a beautiful shoe on both sides, Zak has the ability to break lines, create play and impact the game at either end of the field.

He featured in 14 Colts games, collecting votes in 6 and hitting the scoreboard twice.

His senior opportunity came against Banyule in R14, and he made it clear he was built for senior footy - slotting a clutch goal and collecting votes on debut.

He backed it up with another goal the following week in the draw against North, finishing the season with 3 senior appearances.

A hard worker on and off the field, Zak missed a big chunk of preseason through injury but came back and proved a few doubters wrong.

There’s a very high ceiling here.
One to watch in 2027.

HFNC are stoked to report the re-signing of young gun Jas Sellman for 2027

It didn’t take here long to make her mark in senior football.
After making the move across from a premiership-winning Yarrambat U18s side, Jas stepped into her first senior season with Hurstbridge and quickly showed exactly what she was capable of.

An absolute bull on the wing, Jas has been a constant threat with her speed, ability to win the football and drive forward entries. She’s fearless around the contest, never shies away from physical play and certainly isn’t bothered by coming up against bigger bodies - she’s tough as nails and always ready for the next contest.

Her consistency throughout the season has been recognised time and time again, with Jas collecting countless Player of the Week and weekly Formbolt awards. She currently sits equal 4th in the Senior Women’s Best & Fairest count, with the remaining votes to be revealed at our upcoming presentation night. She has also been invited to the Rosbrook Gannon Medal in her first year - an amazing achievement.

But it’s not just what Jas brings on the field that has made her such a great addition. Her sense of humour, team-first attitude and willingness to embrace the group has seen her fit into Hurstbridge life effortlessly.

Jas has continued to take every opportunity in front of her - and we can’t wait to see just how far she can take it.

We’re thrilled to have Jas back in navy and gold for 2027. We’ve got a feeling there’s plenty more to come!
