Ipswich Ladies recently celebrated Patron's party day and would like to extend their gratitude to Brothers Leagues club for their generous sponsorship. Brian was on hand to present prizes to the winners. The club would like to thank Clarice and Sue for their contributions. A warm welcome was extended to Patrons Ruth and Maureen, and it is hoped that they enjoyed the day. A beautifully presented morning tea was served, followed by a game of bowls, and then a delicious meal of cottage pie and vegetables, followed by cheesecake. The club would like to express their appreciation to the kitchen workers. All in all, it was another successful day, and the club would like to thank everyone involved. Congratulations to the winners of the competition.

The Ladies Invitational Pairs event was successfully held yesterday, and it was an outstanding day. The greens reached full capacity, with 32 teams participating. We express our gratitude to the sponsors, including Brothers Leagues Club, Alex Gow Funerals, Raceview Pharmacy, Laeta Living, Ipswich Concrete, and Ego Pharmaceuticals. We also recognize the significant contributions of the volunteers, who ensured the smooth operation of the event; their dedication is highly valued. Our appreciation extends to the providors, kitchen staff, setup crew, raffle sellers, bar workers, green keepers, umpires, and scorers. Additionally, we thank the gentlemen who assisted with transporting bags to and from the top green; their support was greatly appreciated. We are also grateful to the ladies who baked the delicious biscuits and slices, and to Clarice for her renowned meringues. Unfortunately, Lady President Sylvia was unable to attend, and we thank Vice President Trish for taking on her duties.
