💚TERM 7 IS COMING… AND WE’RE MIXING THINGS UP!
Term 7 kicks off Monday 21st September! And whether you’re brand new to the aerial world or you’ve been hanging upside down with us for years, we’ve got plenty happening at Gravity.
✨️BRAND NEW BEGINNER POLE FITNESS COURSE Tuesdays | 6:30pm
✨️BRAND NEW AERIAL HAMMOCK INTRODUCTORY COURSE Thursdays | 5:30pm
✨️BRAND NEW AERIAL HOOP COURSE Thursdays | 6:30pm

💚 We’re changing up our practice sessions this term! Instead of opening Sundays every week, we’ll have 3 Sunday practice sessions throughout the term, PLUS we’re trialling midweek training sessions on Tuesday evenings and Wednesday afternoons for both our Pole & Aerial students.
And we REALLY want you to use them! 🙌
Practice isn't just about learning your next cool trick. It's about conditioning. Repetition. Strength. Body awareness. Muscle memory. The more you train, the better your body starts to connect with the movement — and the more your brain understands exactly what your body needs to do. Basically… your brain and body finally start having the same group chat. And that’s when the magic happens 🫶
❓️GOT EXPERIENCE❓️ Reach out to us and we'll help place you into a level that keeps you challenged, progressing and growing, while still being appropriate for your experience.

💚GRAVITY SUPPORTS GRAVITY💚
🏅Instructors Hannah & Elisha are competing NEXT FRIDAY for Brisbane's Bend The Air Competition in the duo division for the first time 👯‍♂️
🏅We'll be hosting a studio watch party to cheer on our very own instructor Fletcher as he competes at the Australian Pole Championships in Melbourne on Friday the 2nd October
🏅 Instructor Meils is competing on the Sunshine Coast on 1st November. We're waiting to hear about livestream.

AND ONE MORE THING… We're VERY excited to announce that Gravity's End-of-Year Showcase is coming ‼️
Date to be released VERY soon…

So whether you're looking for a new way to move, a new challenge, a new bunch of friends, or simply an excuse to swing around upside down after work… YOUR PLAYGROUND IS WAITING.

🏆✨ A HUGE THANK YOU FROM THE GRAVITY FAMILY ✨🏆

On Wednesday night, Gravity Fitness Academy and a handful of our incredible team had the absolute honour of representing Gravity at the Ipswich Local Business Awards, where we were nominated for Outstanding Fitness Services.

And somehow… WE WON! 🥹🏆

We are still completely chuffed, humbled and honestly a little bit speechless!

This award is so much more than a trophy. It is a beautiful reflection of the dedication, passion and heart that our incredible instructing team brings into Gravity week after week 🫶

Our coaches create fun, inclusive and welcoming classes for an incredible range of bodies, abilities, ages and personalities. They create a space where people can walk through our doors, leave the outside world behind, be completely themselves, have a laugh, challenge themselves, explore movement and discover just how much their bodies are capable of.

And to our amazing Gravity community… THANK YOU 🤩🫶

Thank you to every single person who walks through our doors each week. Thank you for your constant support, your encouragement, your laughter, your ridiculous energy and, most importantly, the smiles you bring with you.

You are the reason we genuinely love coming to work.

The friendships, connections, confidence and community that have grown inside those four walls over the years are something I am incredibly proud of. Gravity has become so much more than a fitness studio. It has become a place where people find their people 🥰🙏🥰

YOU have helped build Gravity. 🖤💚

So to our incredible team, our students, our past and present members, our supporters and our wider community…

THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU.

We are beyond proud, incredibly grateful and absolutely bloody chuffed to be recognised as the Outstanding Fitness Services winner for the Ipswich region 🏆✨

🏆🚨 THE COUNTDOWN IS ON! 🚨🏆

LESS THAN 24 HOURS until Gravity gets to ditch the activewear, put on the fancy clothes and pretend we’re classy for the night! 😂🥂✨

We’re officially heading to the Local Business Awards as a nominated business, and honestly… what a feeling! 💚

11 years of building, growing, laughing, sweating, surviving, celebrating and creating a community that we are ridiculously proud of. 🫶💚🫶

This certificate represents every coach, every student, every parent, every laugh, every challenge and every person who has backed Gravity along the way.🥰🥰

Tomorrow night we celebrate! 🎉
Will there be dancing? Absolutely.
Will Nena behave herself? Highly unlikely. 😂

Bring on the bubbles, the sequins and the celebrations! 🥂✨

Gravity… we’re going to the awards! 💚🏆

🚨 ACADEMY UPDATE — MONDAY

Hi everyone ❤️

A little update on the situation at the Academy.

The plumbing issue has now been rectified, as far as we are aware, with both the plumber and Seq water attending to the issue. 🙏

Unfortunately, the studio common area itself has not yet been cleaned, as we are still waiting for a specialist biohazard cleaning team to attend. The real estate has been in contact with the cleaning company and they are planning to attend today, however, we have unfortunately not been given a confirmed time or an indication of how long the clean-up will take.

Because of this, classes for tonight are currently TBC.

👉 If we receive confirmation that the studio has been professionally cleaned and is safe to return to by around 2–3pm today, classes will go ahead as normal tonight.

👉 If we have not received confirmation by that time, unfortunately, we will need to have another day of ceased trade 🥺

As frustrating as this is, I absolutely cannot put our staff or students at risk by allowing anyone entry to the studio before it has been properly cleaned and declared safe. Exposure to sewage can carry significant health risks, so we are being advised to stay clear of the affected area until the professional clean has been completed.

I am so incredibly sorry for the inconvenience this is causing everyone. It has been a pretty rough weekend trying to get everything sorted, and unfortunately, a lot of this is outside of our control. 😔

We genuinely appreciate everyone's patience, kindness and understanding while we work through this. ❤️ We've never experienced anything like this at the Academy before, and we're doing everything we can to get the studio safely back up and running ASAP.

Memberships credits and class make ups will occur should they be postponed.

We will keep you updated as soon as we know more. Thank you for sticking with us and for your continued support. 🖤
