📣 2026 PONY CLUB NSW VIRTUAL QUIZ — POSTPONED TO A NEW DATE! 🐴💙

Due to very limited entries, unfortunately we weren’t able to proceed with the Virtual Quiz on its original date.

We were so disappointed that, at the close of entries, we had just 3 teams registered from across NSW. Rather than cancel the event altogether, we’ve decided to postpone it and give more members the opportunity to get involved and help us make the Virtual Quiz a success.

We really want to see this event supported because it is such a great opportunity for members to learn, have fun and get involved from home.

The Virtual Quiz is designed to make Pony Club knowledge enjoyable and interactive, covering topics that form part of your Pony Club certificate work while encouraging teamwork, friendly competition and plenty of laughs along the way.

There are also great prizes up for grabs, including vouchers and rosettes! 🏆🎁

We would love to build this into something we can continue to run and grow in the future, with more quizzes, more opportunities and more fun events for our members — but to do that, we really need your support.

So grab your friends and get involved:
🐴 Get your pair together
🐴 Get your team of four together
🐴 If you cut find a pair as an individual
🐴 Challenge another Club or Zone to enter
🐴 Use it as a fun way to work on certificate knowledge
🐴 Join us online for a night of learning, teamwork and friendly competition

This is a great opportunity for our members, and we’d really love to see the Pony Club community get behind it so we can continue offering more events like this in the future.

Mangrove Mountain Showjumping Championships have been rescheduled and will now be held on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th August.

As part of the championships, they will be drawing a Mega Raffle on Sunday 30th August, with some incredible prizes up for grabs!

Please find the raffle details attached. You do not need to be present on the day to win (although they would absolutely love to see you there )

🐴 Horse Care at Competitions – Remember the Ranvet Principles! 🐴

A successful competition starts with great horse care. Keep your horse happy, healthy and performing at its best by remembering the key Ranvet principles:

🌾 Roughage – Plenty of hay throughout the day.
🏃 Exercise – Warm up, cool down and keep your horse moving.
🥕 Nutrition – Feed to suit your horse’s workload.
🌬️ Ventilation – Ensure good airflow in stables and floats.
💧 Electrolytes – Provide fresh water and replace salts lost through sweating when needed.
🌡️ Temperature – Monitor your horse and help prevent overheating.

A little extra care goes a long way in keeping our horses comfortable, healthy and ready to perform. 🐎💙

🔷🔶At Wyong Pony Club, our priority is providing a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where riders of all ages and abilities can learn, grow and enjoy their horses. Winning the Ranvet VIPA Vest Giveaway would allow us to provide compliant body protectors for members who may not have access to one, ensuring every rider has the opportunity to participate safely in cross-country activities. With the new body protector standards coming into effect, this prize would remove a significant financial burden from many of our families and help keep our riders safe without anyone missing out because of the cost of equipment. As a volunteer-run club, we work hard to raise funds for our members, and this generous prize would make a lasting difference to our club and our community for years to come. 🔷🔶 Ranvet
