FALCONS BLUE — 2026 PREMIERS! 🏆❤️💙

What a way to finish the junior footy season & celebrate Fathers Day!

On Sunday at Windy Ridge Oval, our Y7/8/9 Falcons Blue took on Y7/8/9 Falcons Red in an all-Falcons Grand Final, with Blue coming away with the win 56–33 and bringing the flag home to the Nest! 🏆

It was a tight contest for much of the game, with Falcons Red coming out firing and taking the lead at quarter time. Both teams gave it everything, and we couldn’t be prouder to have two Falcons sides battling it out on Grand Final day. ❤️💙

Congratulations to Flynn White, who was awarded Best on Ground by the umpires.

A massive thank you to everyone who has played a part in getting our teams onto the field each week - our coaches, managers (who also took on scoring duties!), runners, water men and women, volunteers and all of our incredible supporters. Junior footy simply doesn’t happen without people putting their hands up, giving their time and getting behind our kids. We appreciate every one of you!

And a very special thank you to Linda for the awesome photos and for capturing such a memorable day for our players and families. These are memories we’ll get to keep forever!

And of course… we can’t forget Zak and his 50th game banner! We’re just patiently waiting for that clip to go viral now. We love you, Zak! 😂

From the first training session to the final siren, it has been fantastic watching these young players grow in confidence, improve their skills, learn different roles and – most importantly – enjoy playing footy with their mates.

A massive thank you to MJ, Josh, Todd and Macca, our team managers Justine, Nicole, Jodi and Renee, and all of the assistant coaches, runners, water carriers, volunteers and parents who helped throughout the season.

Junior footy simply doesn’t happen without people giving up their time each week – setting up, packing away, organising teams, getting kids where they need to be and creating an environment where they can learn and love the game.

And finally, to every single Year 3/4 and Year 5/6 Falcon – well done on your 2026 season.

Some walked away with an award this morning, but every player contributed something to their team this year. Keep having a crack, keep supporting your teammates and keep enjoying your footy.

Two incredibly deserving recipients who have both given years of their time to the Falcons. Rhys and Mark are committee members, long-time coaches and two people who continually put their hands up to help our players, teams and club.

The Patching Shield recognises those who go above and beyond, and this year we simply couldn't separate these two. A very deserving acknowledgement of everything you both contribute to our club. ❤️

And of course, the night wouldn't have been complete without our coaches being put on the spot for interviews by Carter Ling, who provided plenty of entertainment along the way. 😂🎤

A huge congratulations to every award recipient, but also to every player across our Red and Blue teams. Awards recognise some individual seasons, but footy is always about the whole group, every player playing their role, turning up for their mates and contributing to their team's season.

Receiving an invitation to the Association Awards is a fantastic achievement and recognition of the seasons these players have put together. We’re incredibly proud to have 16 Falcons represented on the night and to see their efforts throughout the season recognised at association level.

Of course, awards and votes only tell one small part of a season. We have so many talented young footballers across our club and the wider West Pilbara competition who have had fantastic seasons, contributed enormously to their teams and may not have featured in the votes.

A huge congratulations to Flynn White on an incredible night!

Flynn took home the Leading Goal Kicker Award for Y7/8/9 and, in true team-first fashion, thanked his teammates for “kicking him the ball and without them he couldn’t receive it.”

Flynn also finished the night as ‘joint’ Runner-up Best & Fairest, sharing the honour with Sharks player Anesu.

Two epic achievements and a fantastic reward for the work Flynn has put into his footy. Hard work pays off! 👏

Congratulations to Harrison Lucas on reaching an incredible 50 games for the Karratha Falcons!

Whether he’s lining up across the forward line or down back, Harrison is always willing to play wherever the team needs him. His versatility, team-first attitude and willingness to take on any role make him a valued member of the Falcons Blue side.

Harrison also comes from a long-time Falcons family, making this milestone an extra special one for the Lucas family!

Congratulations to Sam Darby on reaching the fantastic milestone of 50 games 🏉

Sam is a talented young footballer who brings plenty of energy and determination every time he takes the field. He attacks the footy with confidence, works hard for his teammates and isn’t afraid to take the game on when the opportunity comes.

Reaching 50 games is a great reflection of Sam’s commitment to his footy and the time and effort he has put in along the way. It has been great watching him continue to develop his skills, confidence and understanding of the game.

Congratulations on 50 games, Sam! A brilliant milestone and hopefully the first of many more in the red and blue. ❤️💙
